McDonald's — Restaurant in Mansfield

Had the worst worst experience yesterday night at this store.Went in to get my son some food on the way home from work waited and got my food seen there was no sauces in the bag as my son asked for when we ordered and the lady asked what kind of sauces he wanted at the counter when we ordered. So then I asked for sauces and went midway over the counter to grab 3 Sauces so the MANAGER MICHEAL comes up giving attitude saying to have patience I TOLD HIM I’m trying to help you help me the manager I asked stepped away went to do other things so then I tell him I’m not trying to argue with him cause I don’t have too would of paid for the sauces if I had too but didn’t. Should have came with my son nuggets! Then he starts yelling screaming then PULLS TWO KNIFE OUT ON ME WITH MY SON AND OTHER KIDS IN THE BUILDING SCREAMING SHOUTING SAYING HES NOT AFRAID TO LOSE HIS JOB. Very unprofessional and going to from my lawyer cause now my son is scared to go in McDonald’s and literally cried to me and feels traumatized to be honest! I’ve stayed in Mansfield for years and never had this happen to me AT ALL always go this location! Don’t feel like there doing any thing to make it right so I will put matter into my own hands! My 15 year old son was with me inside seen the whole thing luckily he didn’t try to throw the knife or come over the counter with it cause that wouldnt have been good for me or him cause I don’t play about my kids or if anyone puts him in harms way. We came in for lunch because my step dad wanted to treat the baby to McDonald’s. We walk inside & greet the lady at the counter, my step dad who is elderly & has broken English asks for a #1 please with cheese- the ladies response “sir, you can order on the kiosk behind you”. I asked if we can just order like normal she said “ you can walk over there & use the kiosk”- ladies in the kitchen were laughing & playing around and this lady was just standing there at the front register.

I tried to order on the app like we do in Plano but their service is different here, no option for pick up table side.

I ordered on the kiosk- the food was terrible I wish I took pictures , quarter pounders were almost raw & the baby’s fish sandwich was rubbery, the bread was off, very chewy & wouldn’t break apart easily when I tried to split sandwich in 1/2 for him as I usually do. We ended up pitching most of the food and filling up on fries & our drinks.

As we were leaving a group of young men walked in & the lady immediately said “hi welcome to McDonald’s what can I get started for you?” They started ordering & she typed into the register for them. I was livid. As we walked out I told her “ so you can help them, but you can’t help an elderly man order??- she just ignored me. I worry what would have happened if my step dad was alone & he ate that food or they took advantage of him. The play area was dirty as well, I don’t remember it ever being like this when we lived here...

The staff working at this location between 3:45am and 4am need to receive more training in customer service and efficiency. We had to CALL them 3 times just to get someone to come to the intercom and take our order at the drive thru, which took 30 minutes!!! The manager answered the phone and said she would need to find her "order taker". I was there with a co-worker getting food for other co-workers. If it hadn't been for that we would have just left. Then, when we finally made it to the window and the MANAGER opened the window and asked us what we ordered. I looked at her and asked if she was serious!!! I said we placed our order 15 minutes ago and you don't know what we ordered. She replied "well we have your order written down on a piece of paper somewhere back here"......SERIOUSLY!!!! She proceeded to get our orange juice, gave it to us then disappeared around the corner to the kitchen and began yelling at the employees!! We had another employee try to give us a drink we didn't order. Then another employee came to the window after about 15 minutes with a bag of food but our order still wasn't correct!! We saw a total of 4 people working inside, including the manager. They were VERY disorganized and acted as if they didn't know what to do next. I wanted coffee but they didn't even have any ready. This was my 2nd visit to this location and both times were like this. I will not be returning to this location. I really wanted to give this review...
