I was super excited when I found out this location was opening but after todays encounter I think Iād rather drive to the Arlington location. Today I went around 3PM to buy a red velvet cake. From the moment I walked into the shop I felt like the workers were racist. The ladies in front of me were all greeted politely and while they were helped the workers provided receipts asking them to fill out surveys to receive an additional Bundt cake free. When it was finally my turn to order, the worker looked me up & down in disgust and said what do you want. I only said āredā and the worker cut me off and said $4.75. I handed her a $5 and was provided no receipt either which only gives me the impression that the worker was stealing money. When I tried to eat the cake outside I realized there wasnāt a utensil I could use, so I went back inside and was curtly told they donāt have utensils. How am I suppose to eat without utensils?! And why did the girl have such a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was so excited when Nothing Bundt Cakes came to Mansfield. Great location. Unfortunately the customer service leaves much to be desired. I was told they had plenty of the cake I wanted for a birthday. I arrived and was told they do not decorate after 5:30. It was 5:40 and I said no problem. Iāll buy the decorations. I asked for the cellophane and they said they couldnāt give it to me. I bought all of the decorations , Iāll be decorating the cake myself and they refused to give me the cellophane. They said the had plenty of cakes but they gave me a cake from the display case already in plastic wrap. So guess what happens to the icing when you take the plastic wrap off to put decorations. So disappointed. One associate was so rigid and probably just repeated what she was told. Not concerned with customer service . You would think for a Grand Opening they would want repeat customers. I guess Iāll go back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI never leave reviews but this store just rubbed me the wrong way. My first time visiting and will be my last. The young girl at the front register did not even acknowledge us when we walked in. Didnāt offer to help or engage. Didnāt ask what we were looking for. Didnāt say anything beyond whether we wanted a receipt and that they donāt carry utensils (I asked for a fork). It was so obvious that the other staff member (same race as us) who was present yelled thanks for coming as we were halfway out the door. I donāt think every encounter is racism, but honestly Iām feeling like the service and interaction was minimal because...
