The people leaving the bad review for this location aren't lying. Save your time and money before driving here. If there's still rude employees here then management aren't doing their job as well. I only came here just to get myself a large drink before heading onto the freeway because of how hot it was outside. You will think you wouldn't have any problems at the drive thru from just ordering a large drink, but no. I handed the rude employee $5.08 and I even said it out loud so she knew it wasn't $1. She said thank you and took off quickly from her register while I'm still at the window wanting for my $4. She was too busy talking with the other employee that she didn't notice at all that I handed her a $5 and that I said to her "Here's $5 and the change" When she came back to the window, she had the nerve to say "What happened and what are you still doing here?" with an attitude. I said I handed her a $5 and she told me no that I handed her $1. If my husband didn't go off on her then I don't think I would have got my change back. Wanted to tell me "I'm not trying to steal your money!" You're implying it yourself for saying that and that you weren't paying attention! If she was just paying attention then there wouldn't have been a problem. Also, I didn't get a receipt to complain directly on the survey itself. You always get your receipt no matter what you order. They must know that they shouldn't hand customers receipt if they're always in the wrong at this location. I forgot to ask for mine because I was upset with how she was handling...

When things go fine, there's nothing to notice. When something goes wrong, that's when you discover the truth behind the scenes. A little more than a month ago, I was one of those "your order isn't ready yet, could you please pull over" drive-thru customers. 10 minutes later, as I'm on my way into the store to find out if they've forgotten me, a worker meets me with my food.

1. What at McDonald's takes more than 10 minutes to prepare? Given their production line, I doubt they started cooking my meal just after it was ordered. Even if they had, the store was not busy at the time. Quarter Pounders don't take long to cook. Fries don't take long to cook. Drinks don't take long to pour.

2. I told the worker who brought me my food that I had been waiting 10 minutes and I received a nervous chuckle and a "Sorry" for it.

I don't fault the workers for this. This is a failure in planning and in training. This was the management dropping the ball, and it was the management's responsibility to make right.

I contacted their parent company -- Golden State McDonalds -- online, described the situation and mentioned my concerns. I was ignored. Apparently the lack of concern, the lack of care for treating customers properly, goes up the chain of command.

They just don't care when they get it wrong.

The worse McDonalds I have ever been to. Orders are wrong so always check before you drive off. No napkins, missing sauce, missing fries, no straws in the bag although you asked and the list goes on. Employees with no customer service experience are taking orders and don't have the skill level to get the order correct. Slow! I mean reslly slow drive thru! Then you have to park and wait for your order. After they take your order to the wrong car they start to dig in your bag to see further contents so they can approach the next car and say did you order a large fry? chicken nuggets? etc etc. Hell print out an extra receipt and tape it to the bag or give the cars numbers that collate with their bag of food. Look at the number on the bag and match it to the number on the windshield. Simple! The ice cream machine is always broke! No shamrock shakes. Just put up a sign so the kids can make another choice before getting to the window. The worse fries ever! My grandchild was given a hamburger that was still raw in the inside and she had bit into it!!!! We were home by then. No response to my voicemail regarding this situation! How many children ate those hamburgers too young to know that it is not healthy?! Why people still go there? I do not know! I drive to the one on Union or Yosemite. Its further but...
