I hadn't been to this McDonald's in a very long time, and now I remember exactly why. I placed an order for breakfast at 10:15am on Friday March 7th while I was parked in the Maple Grove Ulta parking lot. There was traffic on this particular morning, but I left right after I placed the order to pick it up.
I pulled up to the drive-thru at about 10:25am, and the woman proceeded to draw out our conversation as long as she possibly could. Little did I know she was doing this so she could draw out the time for my order to get cancelled automatically by their system. I then listened to her instructions and pulled up to the 1st window (payment window) and she proceeded to tell me she could serve me lunch, but my breakfast order was cancelled and wouldn't be made. I didn't want lunch (thus why I ordered breakfast) & I replied with "just never mind, I'm not interested". She said she would refund me the money and it would hit in 2 hours.
I left after than... and needless to say- 2 days go by and the money for the order withdrew from my account with no refund. I ended up calling the store to speak with a manager to resolve the situation, and I ended speaking to a woman who identified herself as a manager by the name of "Zariyah". I provided her with what day I came, what the order was, grand total, etc. She then cuts me off and says, "Oh, the employee that waited on you that day said you took advantage of the lunch offer." And of course, this wasn't true- as I never received a refund.
So basically, the employee lied to her to cover up the fact that she messed up. I then proceeded to express to Zariyah that I never placed a lunch order. Once she realized what had happened, she explained to me that I could either get a store credit in the amount of my order, or I had the option to get a refund back on my card. However, the only way I could get the refund to my card- she said I had to physically come into the store so they could verify that the money in fact "did go through". I already live nearly 25 minutes away from the restaurant, and gas isn't cheap nowadays obviously. But, I wanted the money back. So, I said I would be return to their location this week to collect it. Zariyah provided me with her schedule & assured me I would get my refund.
So 3 days later, I called on 3/11/25 around 5:15pm and asked if there was a manager on duty to provide the refund to me (I said I could be there around 6pm). The female who answered the phone said yes and I drove over to get my money back. As I get to the front, I tell the cashier the situation and he proceeds to get a male manager, which obviously wasn't Zariyah. Not only did this male manager have an attitude, but he refused to provide me with his name until I asked a 2nd or 3rd time. He ended up identifying himself as "Philipe". Throughout this entire process with both the employee, Zariyah and Philipe, I never received an apology or any understanding for the mishap.
I honestly would've been just fine with a store credit that was greater than the amount that I spent at this location. But, I digress.
Please for the love of God- SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! ... and don't come to this location. The workers at the Saint Michael location are SO MUCH nicer, faster, and more skilled than...
Read moreI went to order food from the drive thru and ordered using my McDonald’s app. I ordered using a rewards code of a free hash brown and an additional 3 more hash brown that I was willing to pay for. When I went to pay, an old white lady at the first window was there to help me finalize the order and pay. I then ordered another 2 more hash brown for my family and she said “okay”. Paid for it and went to the second window and when I looked at my receipt my 3 hash brown and other 2 then I ordered at the window was not added into the order, I was supposed to have 6 hashbrowns. Got my order and only got 2 hash browns. So I went inside and told them that I ordered an amount of hash browns and another old white lady with a headset on was giving me a like she was disgusted by me. Mind me I’m Asian. She said “well I need to go pay for it then” so I went ahead and ordered my remaining 4 more hashbrowns to go. When I went to grab my bag of hashbrowns after waiting for 10 minutes, there was only 1 in the bag. I was in a rush and this was delaying me to get where I needed to go. I asked the lady that was taking out the trays of food for the dine in people when she was walking back, and she looked at me funny and said “are you missing something”, I said “yea I ordered 4 hashbrowns and only got 1”. So she went back to ask a nice young lady to grab my hashbrowns but she only gave me 2 more leaving me with 3 hashbrowns. I asked again to the old white lady and she said “well are out of hashbrowns, well credit you for what you are missing”. Like what? What type of costumer service is this? Worst than Brooklyn Park McDonalds. I hate to be a Karen but this really got me angry since I was on my lunch break from work. One of the worst costumer service experiences I’ve...
Read moreFirst and foremost, people as customers go to McDonald’s for food, not for attitude and rudeness. The girl taking my order over the intercom was incredibly rude, interrupting me and sighing when I wasn’t done. I only ordered 4 meals. The person charging my card was the only nice person, I believe his name is Sidel as it says that name on my receipt. The person giving me my food, literally shoved 2 bags of food through the shield, which squished my food. He gave me all my drinks drenched and not even full, they was a quarter left from the top. The food was cold. The fries were so hard and tasted stale. My nuggets tasted like I was biting into cardboard. The quarter pounder and fish fillet were both squished. The person helping me didn’t make eye contact at all. He was wearing a yellow/orange-ish hoodie that had some print on the chest area. He was absolutely rude and I’m sure if it were the other way around he wouldn’t have liked to be treated that way and have his food ruined. My order number is #12. I paid at 7:23pm, 9/17/2020. There’s also “KS# 13” above the name Sidel. I would like for those people that helped me to get spoken to and if they wouldn’t appreciate the attitude back maybe they should cut it out then. People go for food not rude employees and cold food and terrible terrible...
