Food was good, but service was subpar. We came here as a celebration to what should have been our wedding day but unfortunately had to postpone because of COVID-19. I expected to spend a high dollar coming here tonight and was happily willing to do so. When we got seated, I asked our server what the seasonal flavor of their own $14 drink was on the menu and he had no clue. With such a limited menu and the prices they charge, I was blown away that he had no idea. I gave him a pass on that. Unfortunately, the service wasn't great after that. We received our app, but had to wait almost 25 min to get our main course AFTER finishing our app. When they placed a 90 minute time limit on our visit both during a verification call and kindly reminded of it as we were seated, we didn't feel that an app and a main course would push those limits. The manager must have needed to deliver the main courses to us and take our 2nd drink order because he must have been too busy cleaning the 6 top next to us (we were the only ones in the side room so was at times looking at him for attention but completely ignored). But after we finished our main course, it took another 20 min just to see him again and ask for a box. The thought of ordering a dessert (which we were interested in doing) was out of our time limit that was set to us when we sat down so we decided to take the $130 bill and head to the grocery store for a piece of cake. Very unfortunate for what was suppose to be a celebratory night for us but we've decided that subpar service can effect our dinner experience so much that it wasn't worth the expensive food and very overly priced drinks (which come to find out, even after he asked the bartender the flavor of the day, he couldn't remember them all by the time he got back to our table. He told me "blood orange" but after I tasted strawberry and pineapple, he all of a sudden remembered the other 4 or 5 fruits that were in it that was not blood orange... which totally effected the taste of the drink... But that $12 or $14 6oz drink had already been served so... why would he care?) Disappointed but still greatly enjoyed the seabass I had. Would definitely order again if I happen to go back. But would NOT go back for the service, or lack there of, that we received. Very...
Read moreToday I had late dinner with my neighbor’s and their elderly mother who has a grocery list of health problems we got her out of the house to enjoy a sit down dinner to what we thought a nice restaurant. We were seated close to another table less than 6 feet away from us I felt Uncomfortable and uncared for during a pandemic. Periodically throughout dinner I smelt the smell of a burning electric fire didn’t think anything of it. Our dinner came as a waiter Tony walked away I got a huge smell of a electric fire I quickly stood up to get the attention of my waiter to notify him I think the building is on fire. He quickly looked around and couldn’t find where the smoke was coming from as it was coming from the vent right over are table as I quickly started getting a headache asked the waiter to get a manager. A lady came and looks around and said she didn’t know where it was coming from didn’t care to ask if we were OK or if she could do anything to better our stay with them during dinner instead we got up and walked out of the room and waited for our waiter with our bills and food. The manager continue to walk around I didn’t acknowledge the fact that we were upset she waited till after the fact that we had paid her bills to say that we never let her know we were upset as we did tell our server we were upset. She then told us that we have a automatic gratuity with a party of six which I understand we have six people at the table but we have two separate bills which each bill does not include six people they need to be more specific with their new rules as this lady told us as I would rather given this man the full amount of money he earned than a business that could care less about their clients coming in the door. She then quickly offered us gift cards after we asked for corporate‘s phone number. Just wish this business could live up to their almost 5 star restaurant as Google says but instead our party was slipped in between their fingers and this lady could care completely less about how terrible our service was. Redstone was once my favorite restaurant but I will never return and I will make sure the people around me know that this business does not care for the health of...
Read moreI’m rating kind of tough because my tab was 88 bucks plus tip then again I ate two plates so pretty reasonable I suppose for a date or a quick eat out at a high end bar . My impression nice young man at the desk able to answer questions with ease my waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable about desserts as well nice quiet laid back place with style. So the food presentation was good I thought the steak looked a bit thin but it sat on the plate so large looking I then took that thought back and put it into storage. I say the steak was beautifully cooked well aged or a hint of sweet or woody slightly missing something but I was so satisfied I felt like I was eating butter candy lots of endorphins kicking felt like I had a new addiction . The mashed potatoes were warm medium hot not steaming hot like they were in my to go order that I actually ate in restaurant don’t worry I cleaned my bag up yes she was tipped yes the chicken and gravy are delicious asparagus was tasty go greens!! 🥬 I give this underrated place a 8.9 out of 10 almost a perfect dining experience date night bar night self date (recommended) you can’t lose shout out to the chef’s they do their craft I’m glad to see art in food is still alive I was getting bored with Fogo and rodezio grill both excellent establishments as well but I was subtly token back to child hood as I felt like the kid starving and just so happens I was being treated and rewarded for good behavior ok that enough for today I’ll try the steak house next door this steak was medium rare and the resting of the steak was identical to perfect so warm as if the chef kissed it on its way out smacked it’s bottom and said it’s time for resting you been a very bad boy you steak you . And came out perfectly resting like a cradle in those movies were the baby sleeps calm as if it’s yet to experience the world comparing steaks like this awkward but hey when you have an experience you get drunk with love and like most of the blissful drink connoisseur we often speak now what we forget tomorrow however I won’t forget this day soon so it’s worth the travels to forget...
