Dear GameStop Customer Support, I’m writing to formally report an extremely inappropriate and unprofessional experience that occurred today at one of your GameStop locations. What was meant to be a simple and joyful Father’s Day outing with my wife and 3-year-old son turned into a completely unnecessary and hostile situation. While waiting in line, another customer appeared to be cutting ahead. I politely said, “Excuse me, no disrespect — I’m next in line.” This was said calmly and without aggression. In response, the store employee became visibly irritated and began escalating the situation without cause. Shockingly, the employee called the police on me and my family. Even the responding officers were confused as to why they were called, and we ended up laughing with them at how absurd the situation was. After all of that, the same employee still sold us the game. What made the situation even worse was that the employee made a threatening comment, saying: “You’re lucky this wasn’t outside.” This was deeply inappropriate and unsettling, especially in front of my child. To top it all off, he also accused my 3-year-old son of vandalizing the store after my son briefly picked up and dropped an empty game case — something any toddler might do in a store setting. To suggest that this was vandalism is outrageous and completely uncalled for. It further shows that this employee lacks the judgment, temperament, and emotional maturity needed for a customer-facing role. This experience was unprofessional, intimidating, and completely out of line. I am asking for a full investigation into this employee’s behavior and a clear explanation of what GameStop plans to do to ensure this type of situation doesn’t happen to another family. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I would appreciate follow-up from management.

Extremely Disappointed, my 11 year old son went to use a gift card from Christmas to purchase a black PS5 controller. When we arrived at the store they a a rack of them on the wall marked for $49.99 for new controller. When it came to ringing us out the total for the controller came to $69.99 and when I asked the cashier about the $49.99 price marked on it, I was told that sale ended yesterday and it was now $69.99 and they had forgot to change the price tag and it was $69.99 if I wanted it because they would not honor the marked price. I did end up purchasing it since we waited in line for about 15-20 minutes to get one. Please see my picture as proof to what I am saying. BAD BUSINESS Practices.

Rude staff and extemely rude manager - Joe. I purchased 2 games 7-31-25. While there, the guy who rung me up was talking about pokemon cards the entire time and barely looked up to help customers. He also forgot to put one of the games in the case. Yesterday I finally got a chance to play the 2nd game and when I opened the case it was empty. I went back today 8-16-25 with the case and receipt to ask for the game and the manager absolutely refused. I asked him to check back inventory and sure enough there was 1 game left, matched mine. But he claimed wouldn't know if it was the same (even though when i bought it, they told me it was the last one. I offered to walk around the store to find the case of 1 they had in stock, that way if there was another case out on the floor, it would make sense they have that in the system. I went and checked there wasn't any other case, so it definitely was my game. The manager claimed anyone could have come in to steal a case off the shelf so he couldn't do anything. He said waiting a month to come back for a game is too long. I reminded him, it was only to 2 weeks, not a month and was playing the other game 1st. He was one incredibly rude guy who made it a point a keep saying you waited a month.... I said to him, there was no need to be rude about the ordeal, and he responded by saying, "I dont care, I can kick you out of the store if I want." I grabbed my game case and walked right out. Now normally for a $20 purchase, I would let this go, but I cant stand rude and nasty people like that manager. Joe, get some customer service training and do better. People like you are the reason gamestop is tanking. Ive been a gamestop customer and stock holder for years, and this experience may change all that.... all over a $20...

I regularly go to GameStop like once or twice a month so I’m a pro member and I get five dollars off each month now GameStop isn’t perfect but the one I went to today takes the cake specifically The Location in New Jersey mount laurel Township I go on there website to see that They have a video game in stock that I would like to buy I Drive about 10;15 minutes to get there I’m going to the store because store closed in like an hour and it looks to be only one employee works there that looks like he works at a tattoo parlor. I’m looking at their stuff looking at the other games that they have in a guy walks in with trade in he has about four or five games employee says oh or trading machines that just went off-line I was like that’s weird never heard of a trading machine before and he leaves which told me already this employee was lazy so I find my game and I go up to the cashier I show on the game gives me the regular spiel about game warrantees I politely say no to the warranty and he tells me that people like me are the reason GameStops for closing I say, in a jokingly manner, I haven’t got a warranty in 25 years. I think they’re kind of a scam he Then stops talking to me looks for the game in the game drawer he then comes to me and says oh I can’t find the game in error in our system I didn’t say anything I just walked out of the store drove back home and I’m in my chair writing this review so yeah don’t go...
