IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! I recently moved to the area and am well aware that I live in a predominantly white neighborhood but that doesnât mean that we have to go back to segregation times when a POC walks into the shop. I pay the same price every other human pays so I donât understand why I got treated like less of a human. I walked in and was completely ignored by the staff while they had their friends sitting there keeping them company. There was one girl in the back of the counter that completely ignored me even though she looked me directly in the eyes when I walked up to the counter and to my surprise, after waiting more than a few minutes for someone to acknowledge my entrance which was made by the young girl that was cleaning behind me after she ran behind the counter and not the girl that just had made eye contact with me sitting behind the counter the whole time but after I left with my 10 dollar smoothie... I gracefully watched as two Caucasian woman walked into the shop and were greeted with a smile by the girl that had just ignored my existence. Not only did she smile and talk to them but she got started on their smoothies right away while the other girl continued to clean. HmmmmmâŠhow ironic! Iâm on a weight loss journey and frequent ECS more than I really should as we all know how bad inflation has gotten but Iâve never stopped being a loyal customer. I go to all the locations and always receive great service UNTIL I CAME HERE. I honestly went home feeling like I didnât even belong in this world and I would never want anyone to feel this way just because they wanted a smoothie and the employees didnât take proper service etiquette training or decent human training at the least. I advise everyone that has some color to their skin to stay away from this location. I thought that the smoothie would at least be worth the negative experience but itâs also the first smoothie from ECS I ever had that tasted DISGUSTING.    Read moreI am rating this based on today's experience. Overall, my experience is great when Haley is the one behind the counter. I am a frequent customer and come one to two times a week, generally on weekends in the morning. Today, I came in the afternoon (around 1pm) and was not impressed. The two blonde gals working were quite unprofessional. They were talking about everything from speeding past cops to skipping school to get their nails done rather then focusing on the drinks being made and the customers they had in the store. If they are willing to skip school to get their nails done I wonder what their work ethic is like at work?? Sure they're young, but quality customer service (or lack there of) and word of mouth is what makes or breaks a business. The drinks this afternoon were below par and one of the gals even handed one of the drinks over with it leaking out the side and down the cup; didn't care to wipe it off or anything, just said here. That same gal then pretty much forced me to move as I was getting my straw and wiping off the cup so she could come around the other side and wipe the counter. I was blown away by the lack or professionalism this afternoon and hopefully this will be used as a coaching point to improve and educate these two young girls.    Read moreI stopped by today, June 3rd, around 5pm. I've been coming to this place for years and always order the same flavor smoothie. However, lately, the smoothies I've been getting haven't been tasting the same. Today, I stopped and got a smoothie from this place, and it seems to lack flavor, like whoever is making them isn't following the recipe. I'm paying for a smoothie that I want to enjoy, but when it doesn't taste right, it feels like a waste of money. I'd like to mention this to the staff so they can look into it and get things back on track.
