Starbucks — Restaurant in Maple Valley

Honestly, Starbucks in general has really fallen off, but the trip I just had to this store was truly sad. Not only was one of my drinks wrong (twice), they were also very condescending about it. I worked for Starbucks for 7 years, and I earned a black apron. I know when a drink I’ve ordered is wrong. If I tell you I’ve ordered it LOTS of times and it looks different than it regularly does, don’t default to the barista equivalent of “mansplaining.” Maybe consider evaluating other potential issues. Espresso machines are not perfect - they are not flawless. Assuming you know more isn’t the best route, and if a customer is CLEARLY unhappy, offer them a refund! Even with the nonsense excuses they were giving me, I know the different between regular ice and light ice. This was my daughter’s requested coffee for her 16th birthday today, and she finished it in about 2 minutes. She also noted that it was clearly done wrong. I stop in this specific location at least twice a week. Since they expanded, service has definitely slowed down both inside and the drive-through but Sunday (March 11th) was ridiculous. I spent a total of 21 minutes from start to finish in the drive-through. 21 Minutes, no exaggeration 21 minutes. They obviously knew they were either short staffed or in a training situation and they could have very easily inform people when they ordered that it would be an extended time period, once you commit to the drive-through there's no getting out. Anyone familiar knows this is not a long drive-through. There were 6 cars in front of me. Once we finally got to the window I voiced my displeasure, they didn't charge me (yippy) and I still had to wait another 4 minutes for my 3 drinks to be ready one of which was a drip coffee. 21 minutes of my life I will never get back.
