We stopped in here on a friends birthday because she worked an hour after the time I worked from when I get off and we wanted to do lunch to celebrate. We go to the Woodbury location every time and never have an issue with anything but she works next to this location. We knew all about the fast break deal and have done it hundreds of times in the past. When we were sat our server came over and brought us the menus and layed out the paper with the fast break menu on it, specifying that we could order from this as it is their deal. Our food came out after approximately eighteen minutes which for me was not the problem, my problem at that moment was the extremely burnt mini corn dogs that my son was brought. Once the server came back I asked for a side of oranges instead for my son instead of the black burnt balls of batter sitting in front of him. She had no problem and brought them right out. As we finished up our meal and our check was brought I asked our server about their meal deal that she mentioned in the beginning. And she let me know that I did not specify to her that I was participating in that deal. According to her I should have told her "I want to participate in your fast break deal" again I was fine with it I was not trying to score free food just decent food in a small time frame. She then said plus you can't get that anyways because you altered your meal by asking for no pico. This was where my problem arised. I asked for the manager and wanted to make sure I was understanding correctly. And as soon as he blamed his server for not telling us how their rules work he told us that: in order to participate you have to vocalize you are participating in it, you have to order only food off that menu so if you have kids with you and want a kids meal it automatically voids the deal, also you must take the food EXACTLY as it comes; meaning if you are allergic to anything on that plate or maybe have an intolerance you better just not eat off that menu because that is voiding it as you are "complicating" the order. So you are telling me that nowhere on the paper are these rules and restrictions listed, our server seen that we were ordering on this menu and didn't mention them either, and that asking for someone not to put chopped up tomatoes on my food is complicating? Anytime we do the fast break in Woodbury we easily were told at the beginning that since we ordered kids meals that those would be brought out in a separate order because they don't count for the under 15 mins meals. Totally understandable... Our food came out maybe a minute after the time frame yet even then we offered to pay for it all as it was very busy. Our server kindly took two off and we paid the rest. My point being in all of this that if you are going to have "deals" and mention them to a customer the least you should do is let us know any rules and or regulations especially if there is none listed anywhere on the menu. Also just because you seemed to not inform us on the info I wouldn't have tipped you badly for not doing it. I've served for over 6 years in my life so I know accidents and mistakes happen. But as a server I know my tips depend on the way I act and carry myself. I asked for a manager to stop over and explain what I wasn't correctly informed about and you as my server, our server started snatching things off my table, threw my change at the table, and constantly rolled your eyes and grinned as I talked with your manager. I wasn't talking to him to get you in trouble. I was talking to him because I wanted to know if there was a place of these "rules" because I think it would resolve more issues like this happening. I was trying to get a point across and offer a piece of advice about maybe specifying things. I am so disappointed that a server that started off so kind turned into being such a child in the end. Just disappointing and needless to say we will never go back to...
Read moreWe live less than three miles from this location and yet we have driven out of our way to go to any other location in the metro for the last few years due to numerous horrible experiences with the staff here. Tonight we decided that we wanted some wings and assumed it would be okay to just order for pickup since we would not have to deal with the staff. We could not have been more wrong.
We ordered on the app a little after 4pm and were given an estimated time for pickup of 4:40pm. We arrived precisely at 4:40pm. True to the estimate my phone told me that my order was "ready for pickup". I ran inside and directly to the to go food counter and told them I was there to pick up my order. Much to my surprise, the worker behind the counter, Hector, told me that my order was in fact not ready.
I then began to wait. While it was strange that the app told me my order was ready when it was not, I assumed that meant it would only be another minute or two. At 4:50 I asked Hector why my app told me my food was ready? His response was that he would go get a manager. He came back in a few minutes with a manager who said "what is your name?" When I told him he walked away and didn't apologize or say anything for that matter. At 4:55 another person came out and asked what my problem was? I told her I had been waiting for 15 minutes past when their app had told me that my food was ready and that it had been roughly an hour since we had ordered the food in general. She then said "orders have been 30-45 minutes behind all day". I then asked her why the app told me to be there at 4:40 and that my food was ready. Her response was "we only have so many friers" and she stormed away. I was shocked that a staff member was so rude and so I asked to speak to a manager. I was even more astonished when Hector told me that the aggressive and rude employee was in fact a manager.
Our food finally came out at 5:05 pm. No managers ever apologized and in fact Sammie essentially told me it was my fault and that they were busy. Clearly we were not comped anything, I was not offered a beverage or anything while I waited. The only apologies I received were from other customers who were waiting and got their to go food before me and from the girl who goes around in the ref jersey making sure people are having a good time.
When we got home our order was wrong and had been put in upside down so the whole bottom of the bag was full of wing sauce. The 4 ranches that came with the meal MIGHT have filled a single ramekin if they were combined and the onion rings had clearly been sitting so long that they were near rubber and inedible.
I wondered if it was just me, but clearly they do this all the time if you read through even a few of their reviews. I am shocked that corporate has not done anything about this place yet and we will not be ordering from or going to this location anymore. They should be embarrassed, especially Sammie, and I cannot stress enough how much you should chose any other restaurant when you are in the area of the...
Read moreBeen to this BWW a few times, it's been "okay" to say the least.
What I experienced last will be my last time there ever and hopefully to everyone that I know. Me and a buddy decided to stop in since it's been awhile, their service was unbelievably slow and it was a quiet Wednesday not very much customers from the usual. The wait: -20mins before someone actually came to take our orders. -Over 30mins wait for our wings Had some spicy wings, we waited for the waitress to come refill our drinks and waited forever! My buddy's mouth was on fire for 15-20mins and was thinking of going to the restroom to drink TAP WATER. I finally waved down a lady there which I found out was the manager and she finally refilled our drinks. Our drinks ran out again after that and still our waitress was appearing for a brief moment and disappearing again. I finally had to wave her down later on and ask for refills.
I noticed that there were another couple there waiting for someone to take their orders and nobody came to them. The servers were walking past them all the while they sat there with the menu for such a long time. The chick was looking up and around to see if anyone will come take their orders for 40mins! they waited and just got up and left in disappointment.
Me and my buddy finished our meal and asked for the check and paid it on the spot and left in disappointment. To make it worst, we had to wave down the manager lady to give us our check. where the "f" was our server? drinking and taking pictures with a group of people a couple tables from ours. Worst service I've ever experienced.
To be fair though, while we were waiting for our orders a group came in and sat across from us. They had a different server from ours and she was quick to take care of them. She occasionally stopped by their booth and ask how they were doing. This group eventually finished their meals and left before we did. I wish we had...
