We went to Johnny’s for the first time on a Friday night at 6:30 pm. There were only one other party of 4 seated- it gives you pause when it is empty! It is a spacious restaurant, with bigger tables that allow large group seating as well as booths and a nice bar. There were TVs going with the football game on. We were seated in a booth and our server, who is also training in as a bartender, was brand new on the job, but very pleasant. The menu had a lot of salmon, steaks, sandwiches, and a nice bar selection. The prices were very reasonable. We ended up getting the ribs and shrimp along with mashed potatoes with a side of an asparagus plus a salmon pasta dish. It was still happy hour until 7 o’clock, but we didn’t have any Drinks that were discounted. I tried an espresso martini, which was good, but I have nothing to compare it to, as I’ve never had it before. The food arrived hot and well cooked. The ribs were delicious as was the salmon. The side of asparagus was done so well and not overly seasoned- One of my favorites of the meal! The shrimp were nothing to comment on really. Not bad but not great. The pasta was also good and I would order it again. We’re not sure why there’s no foot traffic as a location seems to be in a place. That’s easy to access with good parking. we would recommend this restaurant and plan...
Read moreWe were excited to try this. This is absolutely a one and done experience!! No sign saying seat yourself or wait. My husband asked and got a snotty, "Just seat yourself". We ordered pop and our steaks. While we were waiting for our salads, the table next to us returned two of their steaks, due to being way too rare. After 35 minutes of being there, we still didn't have our salads yet. Asked the guy about them who told us to seat ourselves. They eventually did come out. We both ran out of pop and asked for a refill. Our server could not understand what we wanted!! Our meals came out finally and luckily I like very rare steaks. My husband's ribeye was very grizzly but was done okay. The mashed potatos were ok but the meal was nothing to write home about. Our salad plates were never cleared from the table and we ate with them on there. The guy who we think is the owner or manager walked by our table many times to see empty plates and pop glasses and did nothing. I don't think we will be back, as there are so many restaurants to choose from out there. I really wanted a good experience here. The owner has a lot...

While on a break from the hospital my nephews and I found this spot. The game was on and we were good at the bar. Angelina was our server and she actually had to keep up with the entire room 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 she rocked it out. We didn’t want to eat a lot so we opted for the sampler platter. Dry rubbed wings, cheese curds, the best mushrooms I’ve had in a while and a couple crab cakes hidden underneath a magnificently flavored salad garnish made me want to ask for seconds 👌🏾one of the fellas order a salmon and ravioli dish and it was kind of spicy but flavorful as well. Seasoning was on point 💯 Beers, shots, Cabernet and water all served with a smile and a genuine enthusiasm for the task at hand. On another note with all that’s going on with my great niece at that hospital Mel reached out to tell me they had my 👛. All my meds were inside 😉🌹❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾
Next time let’s put the crab cake and the salad on a toasted hoagie bun see...
