Denny's — Restaurant in Margate

Had the WORST experience ever. 7/3/17, 6 of us there dining around 12am. Had a male server who took over 20 min to bring two milkshakes an orange juice and supposed to be lemonade that ended up being discolored water and didn't tell us they were out of lemonade so who knows what my guests were drinking, and still forgot two other drinks. Then took over 45 minutes just to bring two meals we supposedly got "the fluffy buttermilk pancakes" they were so thin. Before getting our food I asked for water for the whole table still yet to bring it I also asked for two cups of hot water to sterilize our utensils. Still yet to get it as I'm watching him walk around doing nothing. I can see him in the kitchen also eating a banana. I was totally unsatisfied Im switching my food get cold because I'm still waiting for this hot water. Then I go up to one of them. He had dreads and was supposedly off the clock since 11 but I've been watching him wipe tables and more. I'm fed up at the fact also I watched a male come in after us ad done and get served before us. so I tell the waiter I've been waiting for so long I'm completely unsatisfied my food is cold why is it taking so long I'm watching all of you do nothing. Then he Tried to argue with me and my boyfriend and I hear him talking about me and my boyfriend in the kitchen loud. So I'm assuming that's what he wanted us to hear. I left the table I said we did not touch or food I am not paying for it I said I will pay for my milkshake because I drank some but then he tried to argue more so I ended up walking out. This company has ket me down time and time again but this particular location is not the worst but they have horrible time management skills. Every time I have ordered from here my food is late getting to me and all Uber drivers say the same thing that this place takes too long to hand out food well today I seen it for myself. My wife and I placed a order for curbside pickup. It was to be ready at 11:15am I arrived on time and called them in regards to my order as instructed. They told me they will bring it out when it is ready. I waited 25 mins before someone came outside. I seen the bags and became relieved to get my order well to my surprise it was not. Another that just had pulled up next to me got their order me within 5 minutes of parking. Some may say "well their order was smaller" wrong! They had more food as it took two people to bring them their entire order in two trips. I decided to be generous and give them 5 more minutes at this point had been 35 minutes I had waited so I called in and explained that I have been waiting and the guy says "oh yea, I am familiar with that order" this guy in a manager shirt it seems comes out with my food and gives it to me. No apology or nothing. I live 5 minutes away. When I get home order food was cold and soggy. Needless to say I will never dine here again. I have had no luck eating here as a whole. I realize places like dennys and ihop have been going downhill for the last 10-20 years but this location was an absolute joke today.. doesnt deserve any stars and in fact should just shut down all together because its terrible food for the money spent.. I ordered online a chocolate chip pancake breakfast and asked for my eggs over hard and they gave the eggs over easy also swapped put bacon for sausage links and added an extra serving of sausage links and they still gave one bacon and one sausage, not what i paid for.. the pancakes were over cooked on one side that they left facing down, to hide it.. then i also ordered the chicken and biscuit gravy breakfast and asked for scrambled eggs which were undercooked and watery like worse than you get at a public school breakfast, and it also came with bacon and this had to be the worst bacon ever tasted burnt and with a heavy oil flavor and had a side of french toast that was completely wilted and mushy.. on top of that it was supposed to come with a side of hashbrowns and they just simply did not give the hashbrowns, rip off.. for $35 for two people to have breakfast is a joke for what they gave us, i will never buy from a low ranked diner like dennys again, total rip off.. if margate or nearby residents want to keep supporting this joke of a diner i guess they dont know decent...
