I thought this would have been a great go to but after my experience this pass weekend I must say NO. The waitress was attentive at first but when her regulars came in she made other guest that was their celebrating a birthday with us move next to accommodate them. I had ordered a hookah and after about an hour it started burning, I waved her down and told her what the problem was and her response was (Is it harsh, I said yes she said ok and she didnât come back to our table). We noticed that she switched with the other waitress so that she could be closer to her other regulars as well. Needless to say my hookah never got fixed but the other waitress added more coals đ€ to the already harsh hookah. When it was time to pay the bill she charged me correctly but my friend that was there celebrating his birthday was charged for people that wasnât in his party, two bowls which include ice, 2 cokes, 4 bottled waters and 2 cranberry juice plus a cranberry juice A la Carte. His bill should have been $68 but ended up being $148. Plus the price of the hookah depends on the waitress, because one of the guest that was with us was charge $48, all he had was a hookah and a coke. Pay attention to your bill and...
Read moreClubhouse ATL should remove the restaurant in its name as they are not serving real food. My wife and I went to support an event for a friend.
We ordered food - at least we thought we did. My wife ordered mild buffalo wings and got fried breaded chicken. I ordered steak tacos and received ground beef labeled as steak. I have never seen ground steak before. We did not trip on the food or send it back as our intention was to support our friend and not necessarily to have a great meal.
The bill comes and includes a $20 fee for NOT SMOKING HOOKAH. The waitress explain to us that since it is a hookah lounge, anyone who does not order a hookah will be charged this fee. She also explains she took it easy on us and only charged it to one person when it should have been charged to both of us - so $40. This fee is not communicated or written anywhere - we asked and it was acknowledged it is not communicated anywhere. Guess you just gotta intuitively know one is coming.
On top of that fee, there is a 20% service charge. We were not a large group - just two of us eating at the bar. We spent $45 in food but our total...
Read moreI use to love visiting this hookah spot because it was bring your own bottle and they had very affordable hookah. However, that has changed. I feel as if the owners are becoming greedy and the charges are ridiculous now. Since there is a free entry and itâs byob, they make you spend over $60 for a hookah and charge you $4 for a cup of ice plus they charge you for mixers. If you donât want to pay $4 for a cup of ice, you can pay $30 for a bucket of ice to sit your drinks in. I came in a party of 3 and was told that we had to sit at the bar and not a couch if we didnât have a bottle. Then we were told that even though one person in our party does not smoke hookah, we would still be charged $60 and not $40 for 2 ppl. I understand that a business has to be made but by the time you spend this amount of money, I would rather go to another place and order drinks and get cheaper hookahs. We are bringing our bottles and getting in free but spending the same price as if we were going to any other hookah spot that...
