This is the first time I've had spicy seafood that made me tap out. We have been getting our feast of seafood from this restaurant/market/gourmet consultants for a little while now. You can find all of your hard to find seafood seasonings, kettles, pots, steamers, broilers and other cooking utensils. They have alligator, crawdads, squids, every kind of fresh seafood live🦀 crabs, lobsters, clams and oysters. Speaking of oysters, they hooked a brother up with some fried oysters that were really SuperFantastic. I have been getting subpar oysters from some of the better seafood restaurants in the city. Just recently have I gotten some great fried oysters from a smaller chain restaurant. Now I ordered only six just in case they were not going to be right. They were PERFECT, I don't usually want the smaller oysters since I buy the larger sizes and cook them myself 🤓 these were better than my own cooking. Anyways, we got our usual order of crab, scrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage and (bugs) crawdads. That was great as usual but remember, if you can't stand the heat stay out of the super hot spicy seasonings. I will be getting a arsenal of seasoning from this market,/restaurant consultants. I will continue to get my ingredients for this restaurant along with broilers and such to increase my culinary skills. If you really love seafood but want to take the whole feast home.this is your store. The first time my friend came over with a order from Marietta Crawfish. I thought they had ordered it from a caterer because it was so much food. I am going to lay back before the Lord since I have eaten on last night's leftovers and I feel my eyes getting heavy....
Read moreThis is my 3rd time ordering the 5lb crawfish special. The first two times the crawfish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Today the crawfish is old. They had to have been either over cooked or reheated at some point. The crawfish were all a decent size however the meat inside is rubbery and chewy on 90% of them. The other 10% is mushy. There is also absolutely no seasoning on them. As I write this I can feel my stomach beginning to cramp up! I called the store and left several messages on the answering machine. I have yet to receive a phone call back. They knew these crawfish were no good when they sold them. I live too far away to return them today. If I am not ill tonight, I will go there tomorrow and update this review on how the restaurant handles this situation. *Update. 3 years later We decided to give them a try again. We ordered 5lbs of crawfish in May. The crawfish were huge and tasted so disgusting. I literally had to spit the crawfish out. I don’t know if they were old but I did realize that the tin pan they came in was not even warm on the bottom. It was almost as if they redipped previously cooked crawfish in boil or poured some liquid from the boil over some dead old crawfish. I did not bother to call and complain. Read moreThe store manager doesn't actively listens. Doesn't take accountability and makes alot of excuses to try and justify his mistake. Which could have had me ending up in the hospital. Because he didn't follow instructions of how I needed my seafood cooked. I aaked him queations before even ordering. He answered my question and stated No to the question I asked. I stated okay cool great! Before my friend paid for the order. He even asked the question again the store manager stated No again that he had the correct info in the system for our order. My friend stated to him, yes because she can't have any of what I was asking him for and not to apply to my seafood. We did call back and he was trying blame the cooks, then my friend for his mistake of giving incorrect information, not following instructions that we have him in person, and not actively listening while we stood in front of him person to person. He didn't want to take accountability at all. I had to ask for a manager; until he told me he was the manager and this was over the phone after taking such a long trip over to this establishment anyhow. Managers take the accountability for the entire store period. Even if it was the cooks fault. You Never tell a guest it's your employees fault Never. Anyhow I've found another seafood market...
