So, we have been driving past this place for close to 2 yrs now, last Sat was our first time in. It looks like a good old BBQ place from the outside, and it doesn't change when you walk in. As you walk in, you can see the grill master working on some meats. Now, when it comes to the hostess who greets you and takes you to your table, it wasn't a great experience. You would think you be greeted as you walk in, nope. We walked in, 2 of your host's where standing at the podium just talking. We stood there for a bit, about 30 seconds, when I asked, "Do we sit ourselves?" They both looked at us, no hello, welcome to Williams Brothers, nothing. They looked at the seating chart, asked if just the 2 of us, then told us to follow her. We asked for a booth, she took us to a table with 4 chairs. Layed the menu on the table and stated that our server will be with us in a few min as she turned and walked away. Didn't feel welcomed at all, more like we we're bothering her. So we picked up our menus and follwed her back to the front. I asked again, We would like a booth. The other hostess looked down at the seat chart, said she would check to see what was open, and walked away. Coming back about a min later, told us to follow her, she took us to the back half of the restaurant, where there were numerous open booths available, actually took us to booth #13.. We got to our booth, sat down, and started to go over the menu. Our waitress arrived very quickly, she introduced herself, think her name was Onnie, I'm sorry don't remember, but welcomed us to Williams Brothers, and asked us what we like to drink. We ordered our drinks and told her that it was our 1st time there. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. She answered all of our questions, and when we asked for a recommendation for the appetizers, she suggested the rib tips. And she was right. These rib tips not only come in good quantity, they were Delicious. Later we found out that the house sauce is what they use, and I'll tell you, mmmm mmmm good. We ordered the sampler and got baby back ribs, sausage, and brisket. The sausage and baby back were okay. But the brisket and rib tips, again Delicious. Make sure you use the house sauce, for us it's outstanding. We also had a side of potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad was great, and beans were okay. The waitress asked how everything was, we said great, except for the baby backs and sausage. The sausage did taste better with the sauce on it, but the baby backs, not so. She said it was probably due to the spices they use. Recommend we try the spare ribs next time. Thank you for that. Overall, what started as a bad beginning ended ok. I strongly suggest you get the rib tips. It's enough for 1, maybe 2 as a main course, We ended up taking home leftovers. Overall, it was nice. I would recommend that you have your staff at least greet your guests when they come in, and have a little friendly personality. That goes a long way. Oh and one other item. Thank you for honoring the vets and flying the flags out front. Very much...

I called and made a reservation a month in advance to celebrate my daughters first birthday. Our Waitress Katie was Extraordinary. This is the first time my family every came into this restaurant. For starters you walk in and the smell is amazing. They had our tables ready when some of us showed up 15 minutes early. The entire staff we spoke to were very friendly. When the rest of our party showed up with tons of balloons to tie to the chairs the staff were all smiles and loving towards us. Katie the waitress was very fast, bringing out drinks, and food and checking on us left and right. When I was walking to the restroom I see this amazing beautiful grill, open cooking slabs of ribs and pork’s and briskets, I call my dad over because he loves grilling and the man who was flipping and manning this grill talked with my dad and offered him a pretty decent sized sample, and when I came up to talk to my dad ask offered me one! and it was GREAT! Tasty, flavorful, and fresh (obviously) Katie spoke with everyone and was so friendly, and the waiters and waitresses all were so kind towards my daughter who was celebrating her 1st birthday! They laughed and talked about her and loved watching and allowing her to walk around and giggle and scream with joy, my daughter had an amazing day, and I’m forever going to remember this day. This restaurant is 5 star amazing food amazing staff, and amazing environment. Speaking of food, the fried pickles came out perfect, hot and their homemade ranch is DELICIOUS! Can’t get this kind of ranch in any store. I got the BBQ Nachos with Brisket, id never had brisket before but southern tv shows hyped it up and I thought id try it out, I DO NOT REGRET IT! My plate came out MASSIVE! Stacked with a HUGE slab of shredded brisket and it was so good! It had layers so high topped better than any nachos I’ve had before. My daughter got a slice of pork from the man grilling and she loved it. I can’t express just how good this place is. But if I could recommend anywhere for great BBQ this...

I've been to 100+ bbq joints in my life. Many I have regretted. I did not regret dining here.

We had spare ribs, pork, fries, brunswick stew, cornbread, banana pudding, lemon pie.

Pros: The ribs were good and some of the better ribs I've had. Did not appear to be masked with a bunch of liquid smoke and they were not salty like some other places. I normally eat spare ribs dry but they were perfect with their bbq sauce. Steak fries were perfect but nothing special, which is fine by me. Pie and banana pudding have to be way above average compared to other restaurants.

Cons: None really....I would say the brunswick stew was a little sweet compared to how I like it, but some people prefer to have a sweet bbq taste so I understand. Pork was average....not dry and tasted fine. It was being smoke right in front of us so I know it's legit (see pic). I expect it's only served one way which is how most places are outside of my hometown where you can order it sliced, chipped, pulled, chopped, chopped on the block, chopped on the block inside lean, etc etc, etc.

We like sitting at the odd bar situated right in front of the smoke pit. Our service was outstanding also.

Would be ok going there again if in the area.

Stars: 1 - terrible (rarely given) 2 - below average 3 - good, at or above average 4 - excellent 5 - favorite...
