This restaurant is a hidden gem! When my boyfriend and I first pulled up we thought it looked a little sketchy and uninviting but we took a chance and I am so glad we did. I ordered a chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries which were great but wish they had put condiments on the sandwich to really pull it together. I loved the sweet crumbles on the potato fries. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp tacos which were delicious. They perfectly grilled and seasoned the shrimp. I will be ordering shrimp tacos next time. I highly recommend everyone give them a try.

This was surprisingly good food in a place you might just drive by. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with bell peppers on top and a side of grilled Brussel sprouts in sweet chili sauce. It was really good and I liked the grill taste in both. I recommend getting the sweet chili on the sandwich, too.

Best review is empty containers😂 we had shrimp tacos, shrimp burger, hot wings with lemon pepper, regular and sweet potato fries. Everything was flavorful and yum yum good. We ate onsite, the music and the cooks vibe working together was dope. We’ll be back fo sho.

My friend and I tried this restaurant today with high hopes. We both ordered lemon pepper wings (extra crispy) and broccoli as our sides. There was one guy in there who stated he was the cook. It took 30 mins to get wings and sautéed broccoli. There was only one other customer in there who was apparently waiting on a side order of fries. The cook told the customer that the other guy had left to go get the fries. The customer left without his fries. Even though I was not happy with the wait time, I still had hope in the restaurant. The wings were finally done and he said he was going to get started on our broccoli. Of course, I expected for the broccoli to have been ready already. Once again, even then, I still had at least an ounce of hope. I got back to work and took one look at those wings and knew I would be disappointed. They weren’t extra crispy and I couldn’t see any type of seasoning at all. I tasted a wing and it tasted like NOTHING!!! The best flavor I had was from the bleu cheese that I dipped the wing in. I threw the other 9 wings in the trash. My friend didn’t like his food either. This was bad almost from start to finish. I do however want to acknowledge that the cook had good customer service skills. He made us feel welcomed. I hope no one else had this experience at this restaurant. When I can wrap my head around the idea of giving this restaurant another try, I...

I’m giving this place 3 stars because I think it has potential but my order was very disappointing. I got the wings meal with fries and Brussels sprouts and instead of tossing my wings in sauce for some reason the gentleman poured sauce on the wings in my to-go container. He kept squeezing more and more sauce trying to cover the wings and the result was a bath of bbq sauce that my wings were swimming in which made them soggy. Also my fries weren’t crispy and I think they probably should have been double fried. Wrapping my container in plastic wrap could have also made them get soggy faster by trapping the steam and moisture inside.

There was also too much chili sauce poured onto my Brussels sprouts so I had to remove them and the wings from the container one by one (trying my best to shake off the excess sauce) to keep them from drowning. I only ate half of my food and that was only because I was just too hungry to wait and go order food elsewhere.

Now had these missteps not happened my experience would have been completely different. I previously ordered a salad here with no major issues. So I hope for some more thorough training of the cooking staff so this does not...

It’s a no for me! I placed my order well ahead of my scheduled pickup time. I arrived about 15 mins late, (an hour in total), and they had to search for my order. It was not fulfilled and I waited another 15 mins for the preparation. If you’re looking for flavorful soul food vibes, please consider another option! I had meatloaf, mac n cheese and green beans. The green beans were decent. The meatloaf is virtually tasteless with a sweet ketchup sauce atop. The macaroni and cheese is NOT BAKED! Definitely gives Craft stove top minus flavor. I love to support small businesses, a bonus for black small businesses, but I actually regret this purchase (which is rare for me).

I was offered a complimentary pound cake slice for my inconvenience, which was nice. However the pound cake was a store bought, generic box, half price because it’s going stale, slice. Just … two thumbs down. If you decide to chance it, I pray your experience is what I...
