Worst experience ever. First off I tried to order from the app. It kept giving an error and would not allow me to check out. I decided to order when I arrived.
A young man answered the speaker and started taking my order. He told me that the 3 piece chicken strip didnt come with sides so I could not get fries instead of tots. I read him the menu and told him it comes with Texas toast, tots, and an onion ring. He asks me to wait. When he comes back he tells me no because they are out of toast. After he figures out I can still have the tots and onion ring he forgets I asked for fries instead. This was not instilling confidence in the rest of the order to come.
Next item was a Sonic burger with pickles and ketchup only. No cheese. He told me he could not remove the cheese. This baffled me. He then added +See Operator to my order and told me he would make sure it didnt have cheese.
The rest of the order went smoothly.
After I got my families food and drove about half a mile down the road, I decided to check the burger. I was dropping this off to my daughter at her job since she could not get her own food. Of course there was cheese on the burger. I turned around and went back.
I pulled in to another stall and told the woman what happened. She said she would get me a new burger correct. When she came out with the sack she handed me the bag and said "Here." That was it. No apology or anything. It felt like me making them correct their mistake was an inconvenience to them and they were very put out.
I would have asked for a manager but the whole family's food was getting cold. I went home.
My wife and I each ordered large cheese tots. See picture and see if they look the same to you. Very dissatisfied and might not continue our regular outings to Sonic because of my family's...
Read moreI only give this sonic 2 stars for the COMPLETE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE WITH THE MENUE/APP PAY &I apparently company policy. The first 3 times I came I've not been able to pay with the app even showing a total of employees (3 managers) over my 3 visits. And the first time the app charged my bank a total of $75 dollars for a gift card but it was certified back within an hour automatically. Also the first hop forgot all our silverware sauces and a drink (for two) she apologized and was really nice but blamed it on working here only a month..?? She had no knowledge of the app and sent a manager with our forgotten items who told me to call corporate they didn't know either. The second time the hop said there's not even an 800 to call. So then 2 managers haggled over how to do it anand said the systems were being updated. All of the associates I have interacted with at this the final time same excuse no one knew what to do and complained corperste/management/didn't explain procedures... this is completely unacceptable.. it's not that difficult everywhere does it and if they're consistently having the problem take the option off the menue and don't have a push notification welcoming customers back.. all have been friendly and very professional. Read moreHORRIBLE service by the manager named Ashley. I purchased a route 44 Diet Coke (like I do every day here) and they filled it to the top with ice. I drank maybe ten sips and pressed the red button to see if I could kindly get a refill as the ice was majority of the drink only to be told rudely, “well did you say heavy ice?” I politely responded, “no.” She proceeded to argue with me over having to charge me an additional $2.51 for a refill to the point I rose above and said that’s fine, paid for my drink and am writing this review as I wait for my drink. The kicker - I asked for “light ice” the first time! I also used to work for Sonic when I was in high-school and know this is not the Sonic standard.
