Good Evening Google Family. I visited this location on September 27, 2022. I just completed another successful workout session at Planet Fitness in Drexel Hill, PA. I wanted to satisfy my current craving for soup. I decided to visit this location because I had discovered it long ago, since I am a frequent visitor of Lawrence Park, where this is located. I googled nearby soup places and this came up in my search. I arrived and I asked what the selections of soup were. They had chicken noodle soup, chicken with rice and Matzo Soup. I decided to try the Matzo soup and it consisted of balls, I want to say it is similar to lightweight ball soup. It had a taste that I cannot describe but the taste was okay. I neither liked it or hated it. I will say though I will never ask for that type of soup again. I should have played it safe with Chicken Noodle or Chicken with rice. I felt adventurous that day, that is why I opted to go with the Matzo soup. I asked for takeout and I ate it in my vehicle while I was listening to Steve Harvey's radio show on WDAS/FM. I enjoy listening to Steve Harvey's hilarious comments and jokes and also he has a lot of encouraging advice for entrepreneurs, which I am. My business is Krystique Personal Fitness, in which I am a mobile Personal Trainer/Coach/Motivational Instructor. I will visit again to try the Chicken with Rice or the Chicken Noodle Soup. My total for the soup was $6.36 for a bowl and a cup was cheaper. Good night Google and I am enclosing the receipt and the take - out menu.

I have eaten at Mrs. Marty's several times. I've never been disappointed. I have had both breakfast and lunch here. I have enjoyed both their breakfast and lunch dishes. Pastrami on Eggs Benedict is one of my favoritesšŸ™‚ Are they perfect? No. I think their breakfast menu is limited. I wish they had a choice of home fries or hashed browns. They only have home fries. I have, however, always enjoyed what I did order. Lunch here, I will add, has been perfect. Their Reuben sandwich has been especially good.

We stopped in for Lunch while shopping. The waitress is very good. The matzo ball soup was great. Lots of vegetables and the ball was tender and light. My partner in crime got an Italian hoagie. It was a good size and it was a good sandwich. The brisket was tender.

I won't advise anyone to eat at this place! the first thing i notice when I walked to my seat was that every station i looked at the staff where making people food with out gloves on. The owner was in clear sight seeing his employee making food with out gloves and didn't mind them handling customers food without gloves! what a health hazard! i sat and observed before i made a decision if I wanted to order, I witness the owner being real rude to his employee instead of him yelling at them inside of his office he yelled at them very rudely in front of the whole store. Not caring that it was customers in the store! I don't understand how he keeps employee's he seems very rude! After sitting at the table for about 15 minutes a waitress came up she said her name was kelsey i believe i ordered the bottomless pit with my eggs over easy she took my order and told me it will be ready shortly, i watched her take 4 more orders before she put my order in! i had now been in this restaurant for almost 45 minutes! Every one that ordered after me received there food I was pissed! I kept my cool so I could observe some more I witness my waitress laughing and joking and eating while i was sitting there almost and hour now waiting for my food! I finally receive my food and my eggs where over hard, my pancakes where hard the food over all taste like it was sitting under some heat and it sat there to long! This restaurant needs alot of improvement. The food sucks the waitress seem like there just there for the tips they don't take no pride in there job, The owner seems like he doesn't have any respect for his employees all he cares about is a dollar he reminded me of scrooge mcduck. i feel sorry for those cooks nobody deserves to be talked to any kind of way! i WON'T ADVISE ANYONE TO EAT HERE!!!!!! wheres the health department when you need them! This places seems like a nut house everyones all over the place! prices for this food here are way to high to be having this type of experience..............

Edit: was at 5 stars now at 0 after the last visit. The restaurant was empty, maybe 4 other tables in the whole place at 7pm on a Wednesday. My wife and I both ordered cold deli sandwiches. Hers came out first. Was totally wrong. Ordered a pastrami special, got a turkey and cheese on wheat. 2nd time they got it right. Mine on the other hand. I ordered an American hoagie. First time it came out it was just cheese no meat. Second time it came out, there was half a lb of cheese and meat, but whoever sliced the meat didn't take the plastic off so my first bite I had strings of plastic in my mouth. The third time they forgot the condiments. I didn't say anything since that was the closest they had gotten and it took an hour for that. We left at 830. The waitress had her family come in and totally ignored us when they sat down. She forgot us and our food serving her whole family without error while we sat and waited. Also took 20 minutes for drinks then she couldn't be bothered with a refill after 45 minutes. Horrible service, terrible food, clearly she was more concerned with talking to her friends and what not to do her job. So upsetting since we loved this place. Guess we'll wait until staff rotates out and maybe try some other day. Plus the bill was wrong since she didn't enter anything right and said it's only 50 cents. Which I get, but if I tipped 50 cents I'm sure she wouldn't be happy. It's the principle.

Love it here. Have been going for the last year maybe once or twice a month. Seating up front can be confusing but if you're a regular youll pick it up quick. Food is stellar, I suggest the Jewish hoagie or anything with their pastrami. Staff is always kind and courteous. Even when slammed they do their best to accommodate and it really shows. Worth a visit if your curious, sometimes there's a wait but trust me...

I stopped in here because I was shopping in the area. I am not familiar with this deli so I had no way of knowing its quality. This was a shot in the dark.

I ordered three meals for myself and two other people. I ordered a salad with tuna, egg salad and chicken salad literally over a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. That’s it. My friend ordered a hamburger and fries and one other person wings and fries. No drinks for any of us and my bill came to $50. Way too much in my opinion for deli food.

To top it off, all of our dishes were beneath standard in taste and presentation. None of the food had any seasoning. None. The burger was definitely frozen from a box. The chicken wings seemed to have been pumped with hormone injections because they were that huge. SHAME. The lettuce in my salad was lighter than the other three salads themselves which meant it lacked any type of nutritional value. The fries were not even good and how does one mess up fries? The food seemed to just be thrown in the containers. Oh yeah, we ordered to go. We were all disappointed. Will not go there again.

The only upside was that the employees were nice. The place seemed like it was probably a great neighborhood deli once upon of time, but COVID probably stole its zest like it has many other businesses.

It’s just so hard to find good places to eat anymore. Just gonna eat at home from now on. Wish I’d taken some photos. šŸ˜¢šŸ˜”

After reading other low star reviews, I realize this place has consistent issues. Wish I’d read them before entering. Do so at your own risk!

They simply need to close their doors under...
