Good evening Google Family. This is my very first time visiting PJ Whelihan's. It reminds me of a sports bar like Chicky and Pete's. My friend, AJ, who I had brunch with, had visited here before for drinks. Our server, was Marina, who was quite a delight!!! She seemed eager to please. I ordered the Maryland Crab Cake Platter, Broiled with Broccoli and an orange juice. AJ ordered the PJ's original burger with original fries. My order was $24.99 and AJ's order was $15.99. I also ordered OJ which was $2.99. I asked for two child size. They usually give me the large and I prefer the smaller version since I would have to continue using the bathroom. lol. AJ ordered 2 bud light pint beers which was $4.50 apiece which was $9.00. I also ordered a take out meal, which was the fire-grilled salmon, which was $23.99. My entire damage was $81.04. No chump change here. I decided to go all out today. It is very rare that I treat myself. The people who support me on Google know this. AJ and I enjoyed our PJ's experience today. I like the ambiance of the place. I did not visit the restroom so I cannot describe that. Have a good night Google Family and don't forget to work out, be healthy, fit and Fabulous. I treated AJ today and we tipped Marina $18.00 who was a true GEM!!! We enjoyed her service and she checked on us from time to time. I paid by debit card....

Response from the owner 5 days ago from my review: Thank you for the continued support Deeman! We also have fish and chips and crab cake options too!
I had been at the Whelihan’s on Rt 202 and had a great experience so I stopped by the Broomall location. I sat at the bar and had immediate service from Chrissy who was incredibly delightful and a fast server. I had a couple beers ( a bit pricey $4.50/Lite) and asked if they had any fish specials, as it was a Friday. She said “we can make you a tuna sandwich”, which I said “great”. The sandwich came out quickly and looked lovely with chips and a pickle. Only thing was it had almost no tuna. It was like a “schmear”, as when you put cream cheese on a bagel. I also mentioned that lights were blinding directly overhead at the bar, which Chrissy immediately had turned down. So overall, great service, but very disappointed with the sandwich. (Had to eat again on my way home!) Incredible TV’s and sports on all around the bar...
