McDonald's — Restaurant in Marquette

Stopped Monday evening and ordered dinner for me and my family late due to an event. When the kid came out to give us our food he didn't have the drinks. I was trying to explain to him we ordered 1 large diet and 1 medium coke, he kept talking over me that he didn't see that on my order yet it was in front of him on my phone stating I had ordered and already paid for it. He said sorry but he didn't see it on my.order but would get them anyways, he came back with two large drinks and sent us on our way. We got home a short distance away less than a mile, our food was stone cold, fries boxes were half filled, I had noted a few condiments on the order, 2 packs of salt 5 ketchup, 5 mayo, and the 3 sweet and sour sauces that come with the 20 pc nuggets, got the heavy bag home and in the bag there were 10 sweet and sour packets, 35 ketchup packets, 13 mayo packets and a whopping 85 salt packets thrown haphazardly on top of our food. Each time the kid brought food out to people he took a drag of his vape twice before going back to work. I called immediately when I got home to inform thr shift manager and she assured me the general manager would be contacting me at my request. Went through drive thru on June 15th at 6:00 am. I’ve worked myself at restaurants with a drive thru for a few years so I understand how frustrating it can be. However, the girl working the drive thru was incredibly rude after I asked for two separate orders. She refused to tell me my total when I was done ordering (they were small orders.) Then at the pick up window the girl had me hand her my receipt to check my first and second order instead of asking me if the order they had pulled up on the screen was correct. It was painfully obvious that they were trying to give me a hard time. They poked a hole in my syrup so it got all over my food, didn’t give me and napkins and made me ask for a straw.

I debated leaving a review because I have never complained before, but I was so shocked at how rude the girls working were to me. It was mostly awkward because I understand their side of things because, as I mentioned earlier, I also work in drive thru and would normally never complain about service. I understand sometimes customers can be rude and that really affects your mood towards other customers. However, purposefully poking a hole in my syrup to ruin my food goes a little too far. I really dread having to come inside this McDonald’s. In recent months the front of the house staff has been so rude to walk in customers and pick up order customers. No one will even acknowledge you. I politely said excuse me twice after standing their for several minutes without even a staff member looking at me (there was no one else in line) and they still just blatantly ignored me. They turned around about 30 seconds after that and then finally walked up to me. You could clearly tell they knew I was there. As a small business owner I understand patience and am always very appreciative of fast food workers, but this has become a nonstop occurrence at this location every time I go to get a pick up order from my app. A simple wave or head nod when I walk in or just saying “I’ll be with you in a moment” can really go along way, and you don’t need to hire extra...
