Third Street Grill, tucked inside a lively bar at 1034 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI, offers quick bites perfect for a casual stop. On my recent visit, I ordered two fish and chips, expecting the classic combo of crispy battered fish and golden fries. The portion size was generous, but the seasoning tipped heavily toward the salty side—so much so that even a home cook would recognize when enough is enough.
When salt overpowers a meal, the flavors and enjoyment can get lost, and that was unfortunately the case here. Still, there’s credit due: the fish was cooked well, the fries fresh, and the service was quick and friendly. Overall, Third Street Grill delivers a satisfying meal if you’re in a hurry, provided you keep a glass of water nearby to balance out the salt. If they dial back on the seasoning, this spot could be a go-to for fish and chips...

I loved the chipotle burger, since the sauce on it was delicious. But what's the point of that if the patties are burnt? It's the same with the chicken. I'm not sure if they've changed it recently, but it was charred to hell last time I've had it.
I wanted to support a new local business, but I can't bring myself to spend money there anymore. The Kog's beer is fine, but I would rather go to 906 for a good...
Read moreWent here earlier. Food was good. Not the biggest fan of the bacon, sort of reminded me of beggin strips dog treats. My biggest complaint is the social media. It looks like at one point they had a professional camera or professionals run it but recent posts/pictures lead me to believe that’s not the case anymore. Unfortunately the quality of the photos make the food look less than appetizing and as a small business, it’s important to invest in yourself. Get a nice camera and work on the angles. Social media can make or...
