Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe — Restaurant in Marshall Township

UPDATED: I visited again to make sure the ONE star I gave wasn't too harsh. Well, Sorry......this establishment deserves ONE STAR. I try to grade food, service, and atmosphere in my ratings and try to be fair. I just could not get past one star here.

Remember those hot dogs you would get in school that were somewhat green? yeah, this place has those. This reminds me more of a cafeteria that isn't really mean to serve food.

Lets start with food. The hot dogs I ordered (chili) were more akin to something you threw in a blender. when I opened it up to eat, it didn't even RESEMBLE a chili dog. Chilli was COLD and was mostly SAUCE, no bean, no meat (not sure what kind it was supposed to be, but it was just liquid).

SERVICE was lacking big time. pulled up to drive through, "CAN I HELP YOU?" in a very brash tone as if i was bothering the person. Got to the window. No hello, no instructions, no telling my how much my order was.....just stuck her hand out for my card. Gave me back my card. NO RECIEPT - not even in order bag.

So, while i didnt dine in, ill still say it was very direct and brash giving the order and dealing with the server. So atmosphere doesn't get a star

This location is not quite as good as the older locations but pretty close. If you're visiting or traveling by and stopping for a bite to eat ,try this place because it is something you will only find locally.

Their chili sauce is so good so I recommend a large fry with cheese -chili & onion, a couple of hot dogs with everything (chili & onion), maybe a milkshake or even a cheeseburger (chili on a cheeseburger is awesome). I think the burgers are price a little too high tbh.

The fries are hand-cut so they're not like McDonald's or Burger King, they are completely different and so much better.

If you're feeding your family it won't cost you any more then going to any other fast food restaurant but it's nice to have something other than the usual.

One other suggestion, try a cheese-kraut dog.....your welcome! :)

P.s. one review on here said that the hot dog was microwaved. That's impossible because they do not even have a microwave in the place. All food is made to order off the grill. Burgers start getting cooked when you order it which is why they take a...

Ok so this is now the third time this has occurred just for my family and I and I don’t write reviews typically but come on. Today we ordered 4 cheese and ketchup dogs and 2 regular cheese fries. What did we get? 1 plain hot dog, 2 with mustard and relish, and 2 with cheese and relish. We call and let them know we got home and our order is wrong. We drive back 20 minutes to pick up our correct order they were to fix. Mind you they had our receipt so messing this up is insane. They then gave us 6 kraut and cheese dogs.. our receipts say everything correct but our food continues to be incorrect. We are incredibly irritated as this was not what we ordered and the receipt had the correct information on it. Please check your food to make sure it correctly aligns with your orders before giving it out to customers. This is awful customer service as this happens often. As a past employee, I know the protocol IS to check the food before it is given out and to validate the order is correct....
