Stoney's Whiskey, Wine and Raw Bar is a bar and restaurant located in downtown Martinsburg. There are two indoor dining rooms, bar seating and a patio area. Overall, a nice enough dining experience, yet something was missing(3.5, I rounded down vs up because I'm on the fence if we will try again with different menu items) We were seated near the kitchen and there was a bit of a fishy odor wafting out. Service was good, not above and beyond. Our server kind of darted in and away from our table very quickly each 'stop by". We had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled. Large selection of bourbon, and interesting coctails. Swordfish was cut very thin, dry and tasted fishy. Fresh fish shouldnt smell fishy. Brussels could have been cooked longer and seasoned more. Crab and shrimp with the steak were both dry as well and a little fishy. 2 oz. of the filet were great, 2 oz a little chewy. What we ate: Steak Imperial: 4oz fillet topped with crab and shrimp, fingerling potatos Mediterean Swordfish: feta, tomatoes, and corn salad Baked Brussel sprouts Summer Spritz: vodka, lemonade, strawberry syrup, seltzer
Other: street parking and public pay lot next door. Pay lot is free on weekends. Online reservations through Eat App. My rating rationale +1 Service +.5 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +.5...

It’s got that big-city energy but with small-town love—where they actually treat you like you matter, not like just another table to flip. Service? On point. Vibes? Immaculate.
Now, if you call yourself a foodie and you really know your way around a good oyster, you need to stop playing and get here on a Tuesday. I’m talking fresh, briny, straight-up perfect. And the best part? They’re not out here trying to tax your pockets—these folks actually respect the value of a dollar and make sure you’re getting what you deserve.
And let’s talk drinks—heavy pours, baby! Old Fashioneds that taste like somebody back there actually cares about craft. Happy Hour? Certified. They are not here to play, they are here to bless you.
But the real showstopper? That lobster bisque. And when I say lobster, I mean they are not out here being stingy. Creamy, rich, full of flavor—this is the kind of bisque that makes you want to pause mid-bite just to appreciate life for a second. *Pro Tip: Get it on HH
Moral of the story? If you love good food, solid drinks, and a spot that gets it, don’t waste time. RUN. This is one of those places you’ll be putting your friends on to, and they’ll be...
Read moreMy husband set up a date night for us and decided to try somewhere new (to us). So glad he chose Stoney's! I usually only get my oyster "fix" when we visit the beach because they just never taste the same in local settings. Well, Stoney's has proven me wrong! I went out on a limb and tried their MD, VA, and CT oyster selection. MD was my favorite but they were all fantastic. Here's the list of other menu items we tried: Campfire Old Fashioned, Stoney's Old Fashioned, Oaxaca Old Fashioned, crab pizza, lobster roll, and sirloin Imperial. We enjoyed everything, but our favorites (besides the oysters for me!) were the lobster roll and sirloin. Hands down the best lobster roll we've ever had! I asked for a rare temp on the sirloin. I was prepared to be disappointed because I've never actually received a cool, red center in a restaurant. I wasn't! It came out perfectly cooked and had a delicious flavor even without the shrimp and crab. As an FYI, the crab pizza is more like deconstructed crab dip on a thin cracker. We weren't expecting it since it's called "pizza" but it did have great flavor and crunch. We'll definitely be back for $1 oyster night as well as to try the other cocktails and...
