'Tis Corner Cafe — Restaurant in Maryland

Avoid their terrible customer service. On my lunch break, I walked in and said 'I've never been here before,' hoping for some sort of welcome or human interaction to begin my order. Essentially no response from the woman at the register, so I ask her about the vegetarian sandwich. She says, 'you just pick from the veggies.' So I move to the sandwich maker. I ordered a baguette vegetarian sandwich. They didn't have the baguette, so I got white bread. I literally got a sandwich with yellow mustard, lettuce, American cheese, red onion, banana pepper, olives, and salt and pepper (yes, it's a strange minimal vegetarian sandwich). As I watch the woman at the register charge me 50 cents on top of what I'm already paying, I ask her why. She proceeded to tell me it's posted on the menu-cheese is extra 50 cents. When I pointed out it's a vegetarian sandwich with practically nothing on it, she told me I could have gotten other veggies like tomatoes or cucumbers. I responded with awe in her uniquely terrible customer service, paid, and left. The sandwich was okay for what it was.
