Cameron's Seafood — Restaurant in Maryland

I visit Temple Hills several times a year and while visiting, order seafood here because it's close to the family I visit. Until this last visit I have enjoyed the food. Until this week.

I purchased over 100.00 worth of fish to be fried for my family while there. Unlike previous visits my fish was prepared BLAND. No seasoning at all. Who eats fish with no Old Bay seasoning or salt/pepper????? But they gave me a bunch of hot sauce.....😶😶😶 with a smile on their face. And no, I wasn't a difficult customer. I was excited and ended up disappointed. If it wasn't for my need to hit the road for the 5 hr drive home I would have went back.

I will never go to this fish market again. Won't get another penny out of me. There are other much better options available.

Make sure you SPECIFY you want Old Bay or whatever seasoning you...

Worst. Camerons location. Food is ok but service is beyond sub-par. I called in an order while I was still in SW in traffic(about 25 mins away)...got inside, watched 2 ppl walk in after me and go straight to the window and get their food. When I do the same, they tell me I have to get back in line. After I wait for about 15 more mins and EVERYONE that was in there when I got there were GONE, I walk back up to the counter and ask is my order ready. I give her order my number...AGAIN and nobody has my order. Not to mention in between those 15 mins, I ask twice do they have my order and was blatantly ignored, ONLY for them to tell me that I wasted my time for nothing. Overpriced verses years ago. Soggy crabs I got from there twice. Like someone turned it down before me. The females had no yellow stuff inside. Some people calm it eggs which is the reason females cost more supposedly. If cooked crabs are not picked up by customer or turned down they hold one to it and try to sell it to the next person and so on. No one takes it because of the shelf life of freshly cooked crabs. NOTHING worst than going home to eat soft shelled old crabs. This happened to me twice and the last strike was $40 for a dozen crabs. 5 years ago this was a great place to get seafood. Now it's not worth the risk (bad area), price and time to go there. The sign says it closes at 10pm but it closes at 8:30pm. I wasted time driving there to see the...
