Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Maryland

I was on my way home from dealing with overcomplicated government stuff and drove past Cumberland creamery. By the time I realized how much I wanted ice cream it was too late to go back. I went to dairy Queen instead and got an Oreo blizzard. The server was friendly and polite. I have fewer good things to say about the blizzard: It tasted like nothing.

It had been so long since I've been to one that I had forgotten the truth: Fast food places always have the blandest Ice cream. Instead of delicious vanilla cream with Oreo bits in it it tasted like cold flavorless paste with Oreo bits in it. What was supposed to be a celebration for a job well done left me feeling significantly less happy on every level.

The only reason this is 2 stars is because everything else was fine: the server was great, the store looked beautiful... But if your want to actually eat ice cream? Just get one of those pre-packaged bars from a convenience store - even...

The manager here was so rude! We got a chicken sandwich and it was hard, and the lettuce was rotten. We called the store and asked if they could remake it, and she argued with us. She said that each sandwich is fried fresh when they are ordered. Which was literally impossible, because we were in line less than 2 minutes. The fries were also old. And she said it got like that on the way home. Which I live right down the street, less than 5 minutes away. We even told her we still had the good and would be happy to return it when we picked up ther fresh food. She had an attitude and said that they would only replace it if we brought the sandwich back, like we were trying to get free food? But we already had offered to do that. She was just miserable. Walked in to eat in restaurant, stood at counter for ten minutes while some older woman made a Sunday for someone who wasn't there , never said anything to us turned her back on is and started working on another sundae, never said I'll be right with you or even aklolged our presence , very nasty and rude , left and went somewhere where the people are pleasant and wait on you , never be back , sure am glad your paying these people top dollar, they are worth it , enjoy having them ruin...
