Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Maryland

Today I have to tip my hat and give our Ocean City Dairy Queen a 5 Star thank you! We often grab a Blizzard whenever we're in the area but today (3/19/24) I heard on the radio that they were offering free vanilla or chocolate cones to welcome in Spring no purchase necessary. I needed an oil change at the neighboring Jiffy Lube and decided to head to West OC after I picked up my daughter from school and we could grab a snack and cone while waiting for my oil change.. when I dropped the truck off at JL the guy asked me if I was going to wait in the lobby? I said nope, we're gonna grab a free cone at DQ... He said dang, I wish I knew that when I took my lunch break.. My daughter and I had a snack and decided that we would treat the 7 guys at JLube to a cone and grab our 2 free ones, just because right.. so we ordered and offered to pay and the young lady asked who they were all for and I said your neighbors at JL, she turned around and told her manager and without blinking he told her they are on the house! Again I offered to pay, I understand give aways and essentially they meant to bring in customers and hopefully buy food.. But nope, they said thanks for thinking of offering these to their neighbors and that they were happy to give them.. Awesome! The guys at Jiffy Lube were so happy when I got back. One guy said man I love this town, I said me too. People really take care of each other here. I'm just grateful for the awesome people I often meet here. Thanks Dairy Queen. Good...

Order a meal, they brought me out just a sundae. I had to show them the receipt and ask where the rest was, and got a confused look. Finally got the rest of my order and drove back to my office, only to find it completely wrong. Drove back and showed them my receipt again, got the response “oh you are right, here is your meal” as they handed me a meal that had clearly been sitting on the counter for 25 min (the time it took to drive to my office and back). I asked for a fresh one, got that a few minutes later without an apology. My fault for not checking the order before I...

Came through the drive through and did the app ordering and it stated it would make it fresh, then get to the window to find we have 4 blizzards that are melted with lids on them. The lady at the window was rude and argued about flipping them over, what a shame since we go there often. Looks like we will have to go to another ice cream shop.

And you generic response is useless. Nothing worse than someone just sending a generic response. Clearly you only replied because it's a public post. Again...
