Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Maryland

I normally don’t have issues there but tonight was reficulas ! It felt very races. I’m far from that my partner is not white. But that being said when I got there, there was a woman behind there putting Fixins on a sub which was not the woman in front of me and then there was a woman there young lady was cutting cheese. I stood there probably for about five minutes and then the young girl came back and said do you need me back? She said oh no I stood there for another five minutes before she even took us up. The lady had to redo myself because she didn’t listen to me. I was in there, probably about 40 minutes it was ridiculous. Never had a problem before, but I did and I felt like she did not wanna take my order because of my color that’s how I felt She did not communicate or anything with anybody that was not her race pretty messed up. this is why our young ones for the way they are. I was upset when the Quiznos in this shopping center closed its doors. Quiznos was my favorite sub shop previously, their Chicken Carbonara sub was amazing. My family would send me Quiznos gift cards frequently as I would always be raving about how good they were.

Fast forward, and Jersey Mike's opened in this location after Quiznos closed. While I typically get the Italian or the Cheese Steak at other sub shops, the real treat here is the roast beef. I believe it is cooked in-house and is always exceptional. Combined with their crispy bacon and fresh ingredients; it is the best sub I have ever tasted. This location is run well and those behind the counter are always friendly, sociable, and do a great job putting together a sandwich, and I can't say this for some other locations I've visited. The older guy and the young lady that takes the orders and make the subs were so unprofessional. The guy was so busy making jokes that he messed up my order then when I get to the young lady to add my fixings she had an attitude because I asked did she put extra mayo and onions as requested. So much so that the lady behind me in line said, "dag she just slapping stuff on your sandwich." I responded, "I know and I'm trying to keep my cool." She was being very aggressive and snappy. About time I got to the cashier I informed them that the other 2 at the counter almost made me not even want the sandwich but because the cashiers were so friendly (another young lady and a young man) I just paid for it and left.
