Well, The last 2x I have gone to that McDonald's I have stated I am never going back, but after last night you can definitely mark my words in ink! 1:57 am 3/12/19..The order taker informed us that the frappe machine wasnt working but we could order ice coffee instead. We ordered a medium ice coffee and took 2-3 sips out of it as we waited for our food. We then observed the very rude and abrupt Hispanic female manager making 2 frappes. We inquired as to why we were told the machine wasnt operational. We received a very nasty response! She acted like we were crazy and told us you "didn't order a frappe". We explained that's what we originally came for but was forced to choose ice coffee instead. She told us to give back the ice coffee, but once she saw it was sipped out of she started yelling" you already drank some of it!" Well yeah, because we were told that was our only option until we saw you making frappes. She then grabs the cup , throws out the ice coffee and tells us she can only make us a "small frappe" because sips were taken out of the "medium ice coffee". I offered to just pay for a whole new medium frappe but she slammed the window on me. I told her no whipped cream and tapped on the window to remind her, but she made it with whipped cream anyway. When she brought it to the window, I told her once again I didn't want whipped cream she snatched it and threw it in the trash with such venom.Crazy thing is she acted like I was begging for something for free! I clearly offered to pay the difference in the ice coffee/frappe. Anyway she made another small frappe and gave it to me but it was hastily made,dripping down the sides etc to the point I lost the taste for it and really didn't want it anymore. So I paid for a #9 and 2 hashbrowns and a medium iced coffee, and got punished with a small frappe and burnt hard French fries. No smiley face here. I refuse to spend my money here ever, ever again. Never have we gotten this type of treatment at Silver Hill Rd or Marlboro Pike locations. This is not the 1st time the service has been below standards at this location set for McDonald's but it was definitely the last straw for me. Read moreI made an order today around 3:30pm and the Cashier messed up on my order the first time. The staff is heavily Latino based. I told her what I wanted when I initially placed my order, she even repeated it back to me to reassure me that it was placed correctly. However, when I received my food the rest of my meal was missing. This lead me to believe that the Cashier was incompetent and slightly made me racially profile the other staff to be the same. Upon first walking up to place my 'take out' order, I received snobbish looks from the Cashiers and the tone of voice was very slow, that could come off as sarcastic or rude. Other staffed walked away, unfriendly. I'm a paying customer who occasionally placed orders prior to the unprofessional manager Pearla started working at this location. In return for messing up my order, I was given a free cookie. No apology. I had to ask for a free cookie. At the end of my order I asked for a bag with handles because my hands were full of other bags of groceries purchased from another store. The manager gave me a plastic bag with the handles and left. I asked her Pearla if she could bag by items, she replied "No, I will not do that for you. I already gave you a cookie." I asked, "Isn't it your job to make sure the customer leaves feeling satisfied?" She said, "No." I replied, "Way to show your employers how to receive a huge complaint." In another McDonald's in Va, I asked a staff for a bag and the Cashier not only handed me a bag, but bagged my other paper bags to ensure I left satisfied. I ended up giving the manager a middle finger and saying "You suck," then walking away unsatisfied. As a customer, I was unsatisfied with the Customer Service & relations that the staff display. I haven't been there in a while and I won't be supporting this specific location until there is new management. As a health care worker who had come in from a long 9-5 career, I have seen way more polished fast- food run places. It made me wonder if my food was even cooked in a sanitary fashion. The complaint doesn't stop here... I'm not impressed... and that place should seriously be under a new management system. It's a shame to know that this type of ill-mannered and filthy attitudes is lingering around for a buck instead offering quality...
Read moreI went to this McDonald's yesterday to pick up my orders because it was an order placed on the phone and it tells me to line up behind 11 cars and the packages are waiting inside on the table. It only takes half a minute for the package to be given through the window. He makes me wait behind the 11 cars for 1 hour. They are already working slow. This McDonald's still hasn't fixed itself, the drivers have not corrected themselves. He doesn't understand that he brought money to them and he kicks with his foot, he says don't bring money to us, we don't need it, so I ask the staff there why people give their orders on the phone so they have to wait an extra hour there? Is it acceptable for you to violate their rights and make them wait longer than necessary? This is already incompetence. You have not created a corner in the huge restaurant. You are still trying to make it easier for the packages. Sometimes you say, "If you are not waiting, cancel it. Okay, let's wait. It's not behind 11 cars. The orders are already inside." It's ready to get cold, customers send us messages asking why you brought them cold, they act as if we are the ones making them.. Only when the driver comes, he says the last three numbers, it takes half a minute for you to give it, but making people wait in the same queue behind 15 cars with new orders placed on the phone is complete stupidity and incompetence. If you cannot do this, those who do this should come and do not work. Are you working there for free or do we get the packages for free? No, why are you not doing your job? It is announced to all our people. All McDonald's have the same problem. People cannot buy their food with money. They are waiting longer than necessary.
