The service has really gone downhill at this location in the past couple of years. I ordered online, thinking that that would lead to greater accuracy & speed, but was disappointed that not only was our food over 35 minutes later than promised, but also was poorly made in that ingredients were left out of some bowls & incorrect ones added to others. If we'd had actual allergies instead of just dislikes it could've been dangerous!
When I got to the restaurant to pick up our food, I was not greeted, and there was nothing on the pick-up shelves. There were, however, many people waiting for food. As time went on, I saw walk-in customers being turned away; employees joking around, chatting, even dancing, instead of working on food; masks taken off by food preparers; someone calling the employees away from their food prep to lecture them about the best person being on each station, which just slowed everyone down; employees who apparently couldn't read the lists of bowls & their ingredients; and my online order claiming to have been completed on time, way before my food was cooked.
I even saw a couple come in after I did, get their food in about 5 minutes, sit down, eat their food, and leave, before my food was done. Nobody cleaned their table; I wasn't even sure that anyone saw that they'd eaten in.
The apparent manager came over before our food was ready to apologize, & gave me expired "bowl bucks", claiming that they'd be accepted for free bowls by other stores. Hm. I don't quite believe that. She also had said earlier that there was "no way" that they'd run 44 minutes behind, although the cashier (who periodically disappeared) was telling customers that they were running 45...
Read moreI’m writing this review as I sit in the car and nurse a very angry newborn back to sleep. I went online and searched for curbside pickup near me when I was about to head home from a very busy day. I placed my order online and called when I arrived. Upon arrival I told them I had an order for curbside and the employee told me I didn’t have a curbside order it was a regular pickup order. She rudely said that curbside orders are placed online and they ask for my car info. I placed the order online and wasn’t asked my car info. I didn’t understand the big deal. I didn’t enter my car info but you DO offer curbside pickup so please just bring me my food. She told me I could come in and get my order. I explained to her that I have a newborn in the back and I didn’t want to get out of the car. The purpose of coming to noodles was to take advantage of their curbside services. She then proceeds to tell me they’re short staff but someone would be out. I literally parked RIGHT in front of the restaurant. I watched one of the staff come out and stare at my car TWICE. I saw them chit chatting in the back so I just knew my food was on the way out. To cut the story short I had to take my child out of the car and go get my food. There was 1 person in the restaurant waiting so they weren’t that swamped. I typically don’t write reviews but as I sit here I’m very angry with the lack of customer service I’ve received (and of course my, now, crying baby). Chick fil a...
Read moreHaving been to another regional Noodles and Co. The day before, I'm rating this a little lower. The food was ordered one and was ready when expected. The order was complete, and they included the needed utensils. The dumplings were delicious, steamed, not soggy or overcooked and dry/hard at the edges. We demolished them when waiting for another family member.
The pad thai was very, very good. I can say that adding chicken f To it was a mistake. The chicken filets much have been halved or pounded thinner; this would be just fine, except in this case, they had been really overcooked and they were dry, leathery even in places and just hard to eat. So my son and I both ended up tossing the chicken. On this occasion, then, the entree would have been improved by going vegetarian. Perhaps the shrimp would have been fine.
Other than that, the staff looked happy, like they get along and they don't hate their jobs -- I am so delighted to see that today. Food service is a tough, undervalued field, and I can't compliment the team enough on their friendly, helpful demeanors.
Tables were clean, parking was so easy, and it was a great experience. If I lived in the area, as I am a huge Noodles and Co. fan, I would definitely be a...
