Dear Panera,
I do not know what has happened to your great brand, but I can tell you this is the 9th complaint to you within 2-years with this Clinton store. I order the morning of 10/17/2022 online 2 breakfast sandwiches.
The sandwiches ordered were 2 Asiago Sausage Breakfast Bagels with Aioli, Sausage, Scrambled Egg, Add Bacon, Tomato, Cheese. No problem easy enough. Got in the car after ordering online to drive 3.5 miles to get the order. Also ordered a loaf of French Baguette Bread, no problem.
Drove to the store. Picked up the order and returned home to find that there were no Sausage on either of the 2 Asiago āSausageā Breakfast Bagels. Called the store and something unusual happened/. The phone rang like some 15 times. It then picked up with a recording that said, āAll store agents are busy now, please call back, and hung up.ā So got in the car and drove back to the store and proceeded to dial the store some 45 rings in total and the more I drove, and no one answered, the angrier I became as my first thought is that this tore must be extremely slammed with cars and business.
I get to the lot to find only 2 cars in the driveway and an otherwise empty parking area with a few cars but nothing serious enough to explain away 45 rings and yet no one answered the phone.
Met a sweet young lady at the guest counter and asked for a manager. Ray appeared somewhat disheveled and clueless in appearance and stated, āWell breakfast is over so I will have to give you your money back.ā
I tried to hand him the bag so he could check the sandwiches, but he gave the impression that the bag was diseased or something as he appeared apprehensive to take the poorly made sandwiches that his personnel screwed up. He looks to be a trainee or was just clearly out of depth to handle this basic issue which is to apologize for the inconvenience. He didnāt offer any concessions for the trouble as Iām now burning up 10.5 miles of gas on these poorly made Burger King quality sandwiches, other than hey sorry. I was so embarrassed for Panera because it would seem that this was not a premium hiring decision.
So, this experience did beg the question, if Iām going to come to Panera and pay $14 dollars for breakfast sandwiches, why do that when I can get the same basic service and order problems and just order form Burger King and save $7.00 dollars and gas as the BK 2 breakfast sandwiches runs about, I believe $7.00
So, the value proposition is lost when you have this imperfect mix even being attached to the Panera brand that I have come to know and love over 9 years.
I am writing to let you know that I cannot begin to tell you just how poorly your brand is doing here in Prince George's County, Maryland and how this storeās lack of Performance is a direct reflection on the General Management Team and I do not know if you know this but this store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the WORST PANERA ever. Iām always trying to give them another chance but they never get any better. One time I ordered a bagel extra toasted with cream cheese. Got an untoasted bagel and when I opened the cream cheese it was liquid. But tonight was the last straw. I did a mobile order for curbside pick up as I have a young child who I didnāt want to take into the store. I ordered before I left the house. Got there parked in the assigned parking spots and checked in on the app. I was a few minutes early. So I didnāt mind waiting. But 25 minutes after I ordered I went in and said I wanted to cancel the order just give me a refund. The guy working was like well youāre orders been ready itās right here take it. I said no I donāt even want it anymore and thatās not even all of it I ordered a drink too and he said well you can make it yourself. I said the whole point of curbside ordering was so I didnāt have to come In here. They finally cancelled my order and I ll get a refund In 3-5 business days I guess. I called customs service and they were more helpful than the actual in person employees I dealt with. Next time Iāll just go across the parking lot to Chick-fil-A where they understand...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday on March The 23rd approximately at 8PM. A young man who was supposedly named Gabriel gave me the worst experience Iāve ever had at a Panera bread. He was very rude to me while taking my order and told me they only had the plain bagels instead of the asiago bagel that came with my sandwich. I was fine with that. But when I got to the front, someone informed him that they had the bagel instead of him telling me he decided to tell Lady to continue to make the sandwich with the plain bagel. I overheard this as I was paying for the mail through the drive-through window. I informed the manager that I would like the bread at the sandwich originally came with. After that, the employee made fighting gestures in the air. Gabriel then proceeded to wipe his face and his nose area with the back of his hand without a hairnet or changing gloves from preparing my food. Then my food came lukewarm, after that I requested the managerās assistance. I informed her what was going on which she was aware of, and she said she would speak to him. And I requested my money back. I will be most definitely calling corporate and asking them to review the footage from this. And I definitely will not be back at...
