I eat frequently at Panera, as the quality of the food is reasonably good, and the prices reasonable, and the location in Bethesda is very convenient for me.
But I would like to make a few suggestions for additions to the menu, and I find it frustrating that there is no e-mail link on the website to make these suggestions to the Management.
Here are some of my suggestions: I would like to suggest some additions to the Panera menu. Pancakes with egg and bacon for breakfast. And eggs should be served all day, not just until 10:30 in the morning. Spaghetti, with or without meatballs, with grated cheese, and a small side salad, as an entree. Beef and vegetable stew as an entree. Turkey pot pie, or chicken pot pie. More options for sides, besides bread, potato chips and apple---consider carrot sticks and celery sticks, corn chips, and some other kind of fruit, besides the apple.
I do have another criticism, and that is the buzzer that one is handed, to let one know when one's meal is ready. I never accept the buzzer. It is noisy, and sounds terrible, and when a buzzer goes off at someone else's table, I find it to be jarring, and anxiety-producing. I understand the convenience, but could they make the noise emitted by the buzzer softer, and less annoying? Until that happens, I am going to continue to decline the buzzer, and just try to sit close enough to where the food comes out to know when my order is ready.
One other minor criticism. This hasn't happened to me often, but has happened a few times. An employee came and cleared my tray, while I was still sitting there and before I was quite done with my food. (This has also happened to me sometimes, in other...
Read moreJust today I ordered online which was an incredibly large order, I went to go pick it up and there was an issue with them receiving it. I had to wait awhile for it all to be ready once we arrived and they realized it went through but was a reasonable wait for the amount of food we had gotten. The manager there Sean apologized for our wait and had offered to give us free drinks next time for our wait, we accepted and went in our way. Once we got back to our hotel we noticed they have given us everything we ordered so we recalled and told them, Sean then offered to give us a full refund of our incredibly large order ($80+ order) and told us to come pick up the food that was missed. I just recently called back again to ask when the refund would go through and he continued to be extremely nice and understanding and explained when it will be, I then apologized for bothering him again then decided to write this review for the experience. Although there was long wait and misunderstanding with the food they and Sean made sure they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and taken care of, they were extremely amazing and I'm incredibly thankful although it was a bit of a pain. But they...
Read moreOne word to describe the employees . USELESS. Plain and simple but it’s not their fault is the manager fault 100 percent . I never seen such unorganized slow staff . The manager too he slow plus laid back like he doesn’t care . I do Doordash and when we get an order from this Panera 9/10 won’t be ready and it’s not like people order a lot of food for example today I went in at 7:03 and the order was 2 chocolate croissant and 2 blue berry muffins . When they had me waiting 30 minutes for something that don’t even need to cook is already ready to be put in a box and bag it . I swear to you the African American dude did 3 laps around the restaurant picked up the box dropped it did another lap just to do it . My head hurt seeing him work like commonnnn dude you can’t be this useless. I worked at many restaurants before and I’m in shock how he still works there but then the manager...
