I had the worst experience at this specific Popeyes. I will NEVER come to this location ever again. I had just finished working with two of my friends who work for the same company and we had decided to come to Popeyes. I got a flat in the parking lot so all three of our cars were there and they helped me change it. After that was done we went through the drive thru to order some food. First they got the order wrong because all four of the associates were goofing off the whole time. They were making jokes through the monitor and so when I got up to the window the lady didn't know I wanted a separate order. The lady that helped me at the drive thru window was fairly nice but kinda had an attitude. Then as I'm waiting to get my drink and leave some girl comes up to the window while it's closed and points at her name badge and it says "stay at home" instead of her actual name. Then she rolled her eyes and walked away. Then they all started laughing. I got my food and left. I understand with everything going on at the moment that people need to stay home but we had all just finished working and were hungry and then were going home. It was the most disrespectful and unprofessional thing you could do to a customer that is helping you stay open in the first place. I sat in the parking lot and ate my food with my friends and then we see the same girl that was so nasty to me come out and start taking pictures of my friends license plate on her car and looked like she was calling the police. Maybe they want to be at home and that is fine but you shouldn't treat people like trash just because that's the case. You never know what someone is doing or the whole story and if she had known we were previously out working I'm sure she would feel bad. I usually don't write reviews about places but I was so angry that I will never come back again. Neither will either of my friends and we will spread the word. Most...
Read moreI think we need a few more "star" categories. I do my best to keep the fast food industry at arm's length but all the furor over this Popeyes Chicken sandwich got the better of my curiosity, particularly as there I was, in traffic and their store sat directly there to my right, beckoning. So in I went... the drive thru had quite a line and to my surprise, so did the solitary counter inside... the others were unstaffed. Sensing I was outside of my game and noting that there may be some language barriers, I asked the veteran in front of me (oh, not military, but he had "regular customer" written all over him) which was the sandwich gaining all the attention. "#8, regular or spicy, your choice" he replied. Excellent! I wouldn't have to confuse the linguist at the cash register. And, a good thing. When she smile, indicating she was ready to take my order "#8, regular" simply didn't register. "We don't have 8 pieces of chicken." Ok Pete, deep breathing exercises now coming into play... I pointed to the big sign behind her... "number 8... up there... " ahhhh... she nodded, punching some keys... some version of "anything else" followed to which I responded "yes, the combo... small coke and fries"..... "no fries" she promptly responded. Deeper deep breathing exercises, biting my lip, then smiling I pointed to the huge pile of fries behind her "those things... those are fries... the sign says combo includes fries." Pregnant pause, she digests all of that... huge smile "ok, anything else?" She was very nice but it was almost a one on one foreigner experience, what with my being new to their process, and she to english. But hey, the sandwich finally arrived and it was as advertised... delish! Go grab one before they...
Read moreI visit this Popeyes at least once a week. Their blackened tenders and spicy tenders are amazing and easy to make a dinner out of when I don’t feel like cooking. I always make a large order so maybe the dread to see me coming but as someone who spends a fair amount of money at this location you think they’d go out of their way to make my visits a little smother and not a game of check the bag and each box to make sure you’re getting not only what you ordered but what you’ve paid hard earned money for. If I ask for sauce, even extra sauce that I’m willing to pay for, please don’t intentionally not put it in the bag ( yup! Happens 4 out of 5 visits). Don’t ask me at the drive thru if I want apple pies your not going to put in the bag. When I order a 4 pc white meat at an extra charge don’t give me thighs please. When I order a single meal but ask for a large fry and you charge me, don’t put a small fry in a box by itself! You should always ask if people would like butter and jelly and if I actually ask, guess what, really want it. I don’t wanna have to get back out of the car you told me I’d only have to sit in for 3 to 5 minutes when I’m fact it’s more like 10 to 15 then to have to chase you back down for my bnj. Yes! I really want 10 pcs of sauce with my 30 count tender meal! And when I order “ buttermilk ranch “ that’s what I’d like... not the blackened ranch. Why 4 ⭐️, Why weekly visits. It’s close, cheap and obviously keeps my mind fresh. But hopefully you read this and make changes accordingly. The 2 male managers are quite nice and very willing to rectify mistakes but most of this is avoidable. Thank you to those of you that so try to make my visits smooth and...
