Raising Cane’s in Forestville—what an absolute disgrace.
I placed an order, was told to pull around and wait, which I did, parking in the designated carryout spot. Simple, right? Apparently, basic service is too much to ask at this location.
A young woman eventually comes outside, standing there like she’s being tortured by the mere thought of doing her job. She’s visibly annoyed, chatting into her mic instead of focusing on delivering the food that I paid for. Then—without a word—she turns and starts walking back inside.
At this point, I honk to get her attention and ask if the order she’s holding is mine. What does this entitled, lazy employee do? She throws her hands in the air like I’ve personally inconvenienced her, flips me off, and storms inside.
That’s right. She actually gave me the finger.
At a customer service job.
I went inside to get my food and to figure out why I, as a paying customer, was met with this level of blatant disrespect. She saw me, immediately turned and walked away like a coward. Another employee, after some confusion, was told to hand me my food.
The manager, clearly overwhelmed, apologized and admitted they lost track of which car was waiting. She was busting her ass trying to keep things running while the drive-thru crew—including this girl—stood around, unbothered.
This girl should be fired, immediately. No retraining, no second chances—fired. Anyone who thinks it’s appropriate to flip off a customer instead of simply handing them their food has no business working in any service industry. The fact that she walked away rather than even attempting to own up to it just proves she has no work ethic, no accountability, and no professionalism.
This kind of entitled, disrespectful behavior is exactly why customer service is in the gutter around here. If Raising Cane’s allows employees like this to keep their jobs, it tells me everything I need to know about how little they value their paying...
Read moreI went to the store during its grand opening time which meant the lines were extremely long but yet they moved very quickly it reminded me of another chicken place. I decided to go in because I wanted to take a look around I like what I saw on the walls as far as the decorations go. I like how everyone in the store spoke I like the system that they had designed to take the order ask for the name and call your name out when the food was done it didn't take very long for the food to be cooked and hand it to me I was amazed by how fast I received my order. I also like the fact that my order was correct even though they had a lot of employees in the back because of the grand opening the person that took my order greeted me with a smile and thank me after it was through. After tasting the bread first of all which was ok. The bread is really just ok . It was rumored that the bread was extremely good it's only okay . They have two sauces honey mustard and cane sauce. I prefer the cane sauce but the honey mustard was good. The prices we're very fair. For those of you who are familiar. Ok this store highly reminds me of Zaxby's chicken fingers. My choice out of the two is not Raising Cane. I will definitely return several times with my family and recommend the tender golden brown Chicken Fingers. Next visit I'll try the chicken sandwich. Okay I can't go without saying this I also had some lemonade and that lemonade was Ok and Not comparable to another chicken place I will definitely order the...
Read moreI visited this store today and there was an armed security guard with a full face mask on directing traffic. The guy was talking on his cellphone and not giving his full attention to the flow of traffic. As I got up to the drive-thru window, in the far left lane, the security guard comes to my window and asked me to back up and go in the right lane so that another customer could go into the left lane. I was not partially In the left lane but fully in that lane. We'll I backed up and left! I just waited in this line for at least 30 minutes and then you are going to inconvenience me and ask me to back up and go into another line. No thank you. I did mention to the manager on the way out that It felt like an inconvenience and if he was paying attention and not on the phone then maybe he would have been able to direct me otherwise without asking me to back up and pull around.
Too much of a hassle, I won't be back to this location. The full facemask was also concerning as it was not that cold outside. Tacky, unfriendly and...
