I hesitated to write this review because this place was so well reviewed previously. The food was great: we got the Roll of the Year (which I'm actually not sure had the scallops promised in the menu, but all the same it was the tastiest thing all night), the Maryland Roll, a seaweed salad, a Japanese Garden Salad, and a Moo Shu Chicken. All the food was tasty! We were waiting for the third member of our party to arrive and so we set half of the Garden Salad to the side for him. Without us noticing, the server took the salad from the table. When I jokingly inquired about the salad and mentioned we were saving it, she laughed and said something like, "oh oops." No additional salad was brought and I'm pretty sure it was still on the bill. The same server kept taking our soy sauce - it made us laugh but was very peculiar. Our reunion ran late and it began to be their closing time, which we caught onto and were wrapping up, but they were rude in letting us know. It was a very curt and quick, "we're leaving," and then that server scurried away. So all in all, not the best experience, and I'm not sure...
Read moreMy husband and I were in town from the OBX for a family function and staying at the Hilton Garden Inn just across the parking lot and decided to try this place. I have to admit, the reviews were right on the money. We enjoyed our dinner immensely! We shared the Philidelphia sushi roll, chinese dumpling(i.e. potstickers with chicken and veges inside), shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli and chicken drunken noodles. Needless to say we had plenty to take back to our room for the next day. They have an extensive menu with something for every palate, the restaurant is small but clean and the service was excellent. Some locals dined in but it is obvious by the traffic that most of their regulars "take out". If we lived here, we would no doubt do "take away" once a week at least. If you are in search of fresh, hot delicious Asian food, please try this place as it will...
Read moreI’ve dined at Siu's Asian Bistro three times while vacationing in Ocean Pines, and it has consistently been a delightful experience. This small, cozy restaurant, with only 10-12 tables, offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The staff work hard to ensure you have a pleasant dining experience, always eager to please.
The food is very good. I've tried the sushi, General Tso's chicken, and orange chicken, all of which were delicious. My friend often orders the General Tso's tofu or kung pao tofu and has always been satisfied with their meals as well.
My only complaint is that the dishes marked as spicy tend to lack the heat I was expecting.
Overall, Siu's Asian Bistro is a great spot for tasty Asian cuisine, especially if you enjoy a friendly, intimate dining setting. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to...
