THROW THE WHOLE STARBUCKS AWAY!
I’ve gone to this Starbucks almost everyday for the last year or so and the customer service just continues to decline more and more, but today confirmed the magnitude of how bad it is for me.
In what training program/guide do they teach you to argue with your customers when YOU get their order incorrect or forget something? I have worked at Starbucks and been a Starbucks customer for over 16 yrs of my life in which I’ve ordered from stores all over the country and even internationally, but never have I had the experiences I’ve had with the Clinton location.
Today I ordered a drink, a bagel and a classic oatmeal as a mobile order (to prevent any miscommunication when I’m ordering through the speaker in the drive thru). Yet, when I get there I’m asked twice if I had a drink. Then I hear the girl asking another barista if I had a drink. READ THE FREAKIN ORDER!!!!!! Secondly, when I get to the window, she tells me have a nice day forgetting my oatmeal. I tell her. She brings me a bag with JUST THE OATMEAL. For anyone who knows, a classic oatmeal BY DEFAULT comes with a pack of fruit, a pack of nuts and a brown sugar packet. I tell her “I didn’t get the stuff that comes with it” and I hear her mumble that I “have an attitude”. Uh, you’re damn right I do. She comes back to the window and tells me the reason I didn’t get anything with it is because I didn’t specify that in my order. 😂 So I try explaining how it comes by default and I never specified to remove it and she had the audacity to argue back and forth with me.
So, at this point, F- this Starbucks location. I’ll just take my service somewhere else where there are hopefully people who know how to function within a working environment and do a simple job. We’re asking you to read a mobile order, not rocket science. I even took the confusion out of it by ordering ahead.

Read moreI ordered my iced Doppio Espresso on the mobile app to pick up at the drive thru. Once I reach the window the cashier hands the drink to me with about a 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the top of my cup. So I handed it back asking to please add water to fill it up. She proceeds to look at the label on my cup that does say light water and extra ice and mumbles to her coworker with what seems like an attitude “that’s not light water” as if I’m bothering her and puts it on the counter. The coworker then picks it up and looks at the label as if I’m asking for extra accommodations. Her passive aggressive attitude was not warranted and was unprofessional. She hands the drink back with the energy has before. Now I’ve been ordering the same drink forever and never had this problem since I do have extra ice, light water, 3 shots of espresso, 1/2 heavy cream, 4 pumps of SF vanilla syrup with cinnamon which has always filled up the grande cup. Once I get on the road I taste my iced coffee and it’s bitter. Now I look at the label and their printer running out of ink makes the 4 pumps of SF vanilla look like 1 pump which explains why it’s bitter. So now I’m over charged, have a drink that’s bitter and I won’t be drinking, the customer service at the Clinton location is unprofessional and this was not a pleasant experience for me at all. Read moreThis location is always disorganized, every time I go through the drive-through they always mess up my order. And if I go inside to do the same exact thing. I have complained about the store one time too many. They just need to open a Starbucks in Temple Hills, so I can stop coming to this one. And they never have specific drinks like if I go to another Starbucks, or a Starbucks inside of a Target they will have that particular to drink. A lot of times they won't have the ingredients to make a specific drink. They let me order it they let me pay for it and then they come back with we don't have this we can't make it today. Or yesterday was we don't have any Bagels. It's always something with this location. I understand it's the only Starbucks until you get to the Target in Brandywine. So it's always crowded early in the mornings oh, so I get that. But when they have no line and it seems like I can just walk up and order a drink. They never have anything, or they always mess up my order. And it will be something so simple. For example, a tall caramel ribbon crunch frappuccino, with extra whipped cream.
