This Starbucks WAS my favorite store to go to since it opened a few months ago and it's also 2min walking from our house. I came in last night, 12/11/18, with a friend before our work shift started, But today, 12/12/18, will be the last time I ever go there. I went in and had to use the restroom, so I did that before I ordered. I proceeded to the counter and just wanted an ice water today, my stomach was bothering me and just wanted something cold and non caffeinated. I also had asked the girl that was working the front, I cannot remember her name, I REALLY wish I had, but she was shorter, like 5'5ish, blonde hair and probably around 30 years old, if I could get change for a $10 bill that I had. She said "No" in the most rudest of tones and I was like "ok well can I still get an ice water, please?". She had someone make the ice water and as he was making it, another lady around the same height with brown hair came out from the back, and the blonde haired girl started talking to her (I guess she thought I couldn't hear her). She was saying how I couldn't order a drink but I wanted change...so on and so forth. I wasn't upset about the change, I understand that she couldn't or wouldn't give me change, but what really has me upset is the fact that she started talking about me to another employee, right in front of my face, basically. I left this Starbucks this morning feeling completely upset, very disappointed and honestly just embarrassed. What this girl/woman did was completely inappropriate and made me feel humiliated. I will never come back to this Starbucks in the future to order anything at all and will let my friends and family who go there and that I work with, actually in the same shopping center, know about how I was treated or should I say not treated. I work in customer service and I would NEVER do something like this! Ever! If you want to talk about me that bad, please, at least have the common decency to wait until I leave. Like I said before, I understand not being able to give me change, that's not what has me upset. I really don't know what else to say. Very very very poor...
Read moreAll the tables were occupied by only four college students doing homework. All of them had long finished whatever it was that they may ordered to drink earlier in the evening. No table was available for a party of six senior citizens looking forward to having some dessert and a cup of coffee after dinner on a Sunday night. We ended up only getting coffee because there was no place for us sit. Unbelievable. We should have stayed across the street at Carlo's Italian Bistro. The two female students occupying the only table that seats six people refused to remove their book bags off the chairs next to them, even after I asked them nicely. Neither one of them were eating or drinking. They had text books and papers spread out on the table while they did homework on their laptops and kept up their social media from their smartphones. There were two tables that each seat four people occupied by only two young male students (one per table) with the same scenario. Books, papers, & laptops, completely taking up each table. Neither of those young men were having anything to eat or drink either. We drank our coffee as we stood next to the counter for approx. 30 minutes. On our way out I asked the manager if this was a normal occurrence there on a slow Sunday night. She said it was like this most nights. I told her how disappointed I was. Her exact words to me were "I am sorry but there is nothing I can do." Well there is something I can do. My wife and I will be getting our coffee and dessert elsewhere in the future....
Read moreI love Starbucks so I’m not going to let a few bad employees ruin my weekly trips to Starbucks HOWEVER these employees need customer relations training. My drinks have been wrong recently a couple of times, and when I ask for my drinks to be remade, it seems like there’s an issue. The attitude of the employees make you think they are losing money from their own pockets. A few weeks ago I went back to Starbucks with a drink I had ordered because it was made with cows milk, instead of oat milk, and the man working behind the counter was very rude and condescending when I asked for a new drink. Then today, I ordered a cold brew oat milk iced coffee, and when I picked it up, the milk was curdling inside. When I asked the baristas for a new drink, one of the ladies says “it’s supposed to be like that.” Well next time she should drink it if she thinks it’s supposed to be like that. I can’t believe that even came out of her mouth. Yes, this barista said my milk is supposed to curdle. I asked for my drink to be remade with almond milk because I didn’t trust the oat milk they had. When the drink was remade, it didn’t taste like there was the added syrup and cinnamon I asked for. I took my drink home and added it myself.
Not all of the workers here are this rude, some of them are so sweet to me. I would happily describe these employees outside of this review should corporate would like to correct...
