As someone from New Jersey who has frequented many Wawa’s and have worked for Wawa at multiple locations for a few years, this location is the worst of all. The employees at this location are cold and actively try to avoid customers. They ignore obvious issues. When I worked at this location I was the only one who actually did the job and was always given too many responsibilities since no one else did their job right. Things are not cleaned often enough, and there is little teamwork. This location has the highest turnover rate I’ve seen out of many locations. As a customer, pretty much every time I go to this location there is something wrong with my order. I don’t often bring it up because usually it’s small things, like they forget to put onions or something. But I have gotten completely wrong items before, and if I ask them to remake it because it’s wrong, they always give an attitude and argue. It’s extremely frustrating. Not to mention the wait time here is ridiculous, and almost every time I’ll be waiting 10, 20, even 30 minutes for a hoagie. There have been times I wait for salads and they don’t even make it and I have to ask when it’ll be done. The wait time shouldn’t be longer than 5-7 minutes. I think it only frustrates me so much since I worked in wawa delis for almost four years, and I know how things are supposed to taste and look. Once, I ordered a grilled cheese panini and when I got home and started eating it, I realized I bit into a piece of paper. They left the paper divider from the cheddar and pepperjack cheeses in my sandwich. I went back to the store and when I told them they laughed and got the manager, who then asked how much it was for a refund. I didn’t have the receipt and she gave me attitude over it. Absolutely ridiculous. I ate literal paper and you give me a hard time over a refund? I know I won’t die from the paper but I would expect some sort of apology ya know? This location is just a whole mess and needs a serious reevaluation from corporate. I often will drive the extra 15 minutes to the location in Timonium because they are much better and...
Read moreOn June 2nd 2024 I ordered a junior hoagie I had some potato chips and a iced tea all I remember is looking to my left and the young man or young boy had a gun just in between his sweatpants. The same kind of sweatpants or sweat shorts that you would wear men wear to play basketball and when I caught glimpse of it I mean I was just like, Lord Jesus Christ if you are not too busy can you please let them finish with my Hoagie so that I can get out of here. I had already paid for my food. And all I could think about was what happens if this guy wants to start shooting in the Wawa I mean the gun it wasn't even hidden it was like in his waistband and his T-shirt was like above it so you can see like the whole thing I just cannot get over that this location is really I feel sorry for the employees. There's a Chick-fil-A that's about to open across the street and so hopefully Wawa will get some sort of corporate help to this location the floor is always dirty the coffee machine sometimes it's leaking. Honestly this location is overwhelmed it could double in size and still it would be busy because during the day it's like regular working people and then at night I think like all of the Towson students come to this location so it's really a sight to see after like 10:00 p.m., but it's like the closest location and compared to Royal Farms their food is much better but oh my God I mean like literally the guy had a gun in his waistband and I swear he was maybe, maybe 14 steps away from me. 🙏 🤐🙄.. ...

I came to this Wawa (1300 E Joppa Rd, Towson) today (8/7/2024) around 5:30 pm. I saw the big sign by the street showing that regular gas was $3.25/gal in red. So, I drove in and tried to pump gas. I then saw $3.47/gal for regular gas on the pump. I was curious. So, I went inside and asked the cashier to tell me which one it was - $3.25/gal or $3.47/gal. She could not tell me. So, she asked the manager for help. The manager (a man) went to the backroom, then walked outside with me to verify the sign. Yes, he saw the sign saying $3.25/gal. He then went to the backroom and came out to tell me that the price was $3.47/gal. And, that was what they would go by regardless what the main sign says!!
Why is that $3.47/gal while the BIG sign by the street says $3.25? This is a perfect case of false advertisement. I am sure many people go to this Wawa to pump gas because of the cheap gas price on the sign. How many people do actually look at the pump to see how much they are paying a gallon? I am sure not many people would do that. Many of us trust what we see on the BIG sign and not what we are actually paying at the pump.
Someone from the Maryland Transportation or Comptroller office should pay a visit to this Wawa and investigate this incident.
I will NOT come to this Wawa again. I would also suggest that people pay close attention to what they are actually pay at the pump instead of what Wawa advertises on their...
