Potbelly — Restaurant in Maryland

If I could give a Zero rating I would. I've ordered there 3 times. With my first order, my sandwich was made incorrectly. The second time I ordered 3 bowls of soup and received only 1. I reviewed Potbelly on the food delivery website and later that evening, I got an email from Potbelly asking that if there is a problem with my order, to contact the store manager. I thought maybe my review was written in haste and I wanted to give them another chance since the one bowl of soup I did get was pretty good. I ordered again the next day to include 3 bowls of Broccoli soup and 1 cup of Chicken pot pie. When my order arrived, I had 3 bowls of Chicken pot pie and the 1cup I did order. How can the employees look at my order and give me 3 bowls of soup that weren't even in my order? I contacted Potbelly where the manager on that night was apologetic and told me to order 1 cup of soup the next day, cancel the order, call the store and talk to the Manager on that night and they would send me the 6 bowls of soup I hadn't received in my last 2 orders. I had not received a correct order all 3 times and at this point I didn't want anymore to do with this place. It's not rocket science. It merely requires an employee looking at an order and placing those items in a bag. There's no cooking involved. Simple right? Not for this Potbelly location. I'm done and I'm out $70. In the words of the person from Potbelly who sent me an email after the 2nd messed up order, I send "Peace, light and love." Clearly, the manager needs it more than I. I will stick with that other National soup and sandwich chain who in ALL my orders, NEVER messed up an order, packaged it perfectly, I received it hot and ALWAYS delicious. I’ve given this location a lot of chances because I’ve always liked potbelly’s but this place is horrible. My sister placed an order for pickup an order for pickup and I ordered in person. I got a chicken club and milkshake. After four sips of the milkshake, I had to throw it out because it was so horrible, I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot. My sandwich, when I got home, barely had meat in it, I’m used to very full sandwich from potbelly, this one was empty, barely any toppings even though I asked for it in front of them ave even asked for extras. Also I don’t know how they managed to make the bread soggy and the actual sandwich dry. My sister was given the wrong size for her sandwich, she ordered a big and was given regular and her sandwich was pretty empty as well. When she called about the size, they disregarded her complaint and were very rude to her. Finally the staff here is now so rude and unprofessional. In previous occasions, I’ll order curbside and never get and have to go inside and ask for my sandwich, a majority of the staff are always sagging their pants low to the point that a lot of their undergarments are visible and I watched one of the employees use their bare hands to scoop out the ice cream for a milkshake and use their finger to dig it out of the spoon which I don’t think is sanitary. I love this Resturant! I’m not a fan of subway so I come here ... most of the time my experience is great, but when I went to this location on Saturday July 13, 2019 my experience was horrible! I couldn’t believe that management had only one employee working. I believe his name was Jacob ... I can’t remember, but he was awesome ! I couldn’t stop thanking him because he was the only employee there taking orders, making orders, and was the cashier. Throughout the whole experience he remained cool, calm, and collective. I truly feel like he needs a raise! I felt bad for him trying to take everyone’s order and make everything all at once, but he did it so effortlessly and that’s truly the only reason why I chose to stay in line and get my food from there. I am so disappointed in management at that restaurant that they could possibly have the audacity to do their employees in that way.
