The Back Corner — Restaurant in Matthews

Our first time here, the Back Corner bar is part of a multi-business concept near downtown Matthews. Back Corner serves craft cocktails, while the Carolina Beer Temple serves beers on tap. Other businesses are a game place, cannabis, soon to be ice cream, and more to come. No food on site yet, but they do have food trucks scheduled for the overall facility. Live music also. We got a few cocktails from the lovely Rachel and Shawn. Great selection of spirits and some locally sourced. They have a huge bar and more TV's to come for the sports fans. You can take your drinks outside in front of the building, but they also have a nice window seat. Kelly is truly the most amazing bartender I’ve ever encountered. She created the key lime cocktail and it’s the best drink I’ve ever had. You have to stop in for a taste of their curated drinks and hopefully get a drink from Kelly as well!
