Here we go! The atmosphere was a quiet, calm setting. If you chose dine in, in this case we did! Naturally I got a few alla cart, sushi style! Beautiful done and basic which is what I wanted! Now 5$ for just 2, a bit pricey for my liking.. Our meal was great my fish was still juicy and the perfect amount of sauce! THE DESERT was where they lost of both completely. I got the strawberry mochi, you could tell they had been pre made too sit in the plates. (Now i understand food prep, I've worked in 3 kitchens, deserts do tend to be pre plated to make easy plating and pretty plating.) But my mochi was HARD, not even just froze hard. This was left in the freezer without a cover of any sort until I ordered it, hard. It was gritty and just really had no flavor. At Least not the flavor of GOOD mochi. (And by good I mean edible) The fried ice cream had too much dough and seemed to be already melted when cut into. But at least it was yummy. Better luck next time!

Great food. I love both the hibachi option and the regular dining option. The hibachi show is a fun experience for the whole family and is it nice to be able to eat your food right after it is cooked. They have really yummy rice and noodles; which you can customize by adding a meat of your choice, lile shrimp for example. The chefs that perform the hibachi show are always entertaining and interact well with their audience. I also love their sushi. There are so many quality sushi options to choose from, and they tastes great!🍣 Even for those that are not a fan of sushi though, the rice and noodles are just as great. I also love their drink options. They offer tea and sake, and serve it in Japanese style cups. They offer mochi icecream as well for dessert. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great. It is decorated very nicely and gives a somewhat romantic vibe. I definitely would recommend this place for a nice lunch or dinner.

I have come here a couple times while in town and have had great experiences both times! I was a bit skeptical about a hibachi restaurant in a small town in the middle of rural Illinois, but wow, I was very impressed! First of all, you have to try the flaming lobster roll. It is excellent! The lobster and spicy crab go great together, and the cream cheese and deep fried crust just make it so good. The hibachi was good and I felt that the prices for hibachi were really fair. The restaurant itself was clean and the servers were friendly and attentive. There is even a koi fish pond. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Mine was a take out order of a couple common sushi rolls, California and Philidephia six piece each...the usual for me when trying a new place for sushi. Call and pick up were without incident, but...both rolls were improperly made. Rice should not overlap itself; roll was inconsistent so end pieces were mostly rice and smaller the middle pieces; fell apart easily; and ingredients...it seemed like they were using more of the cheaper ingredients...most of my Philly roll was like eating a mouth full of cream cheese for example. So I will say the food was inconsistant and appeared to be made quickly (I picked up my order half hour before they stopped taking carry out orders). I also feel because they are basically the only Japanese restaurant in the area, they might be taking advantage of their customers lack of options without having to go to Chapaign or Terre Haute. For this reviewer, nice customer service but inconsistant quality...
