Panda Express — Restaurant in Mattoon

It opened almost a week ago. It certainly lives up to the Panda Express name. Everything was great as expected. $13.81 for a bowl with a premium entree and a Mexican Coke was pricey but that's inflation and that's everywhere.

Upon entering the main entry vestibule, it's not immediately clear whether you go to the left for entry, or to the right door. Some stickers or arrows or something would help.

I don't like the forced greeting upon entry. When anyone walks in, they're shouted at by multiple workers, "WELCOME". It's probably fine for everyone else. But I prefer organic greetings instead of ones in job descriptions.

I recently visited Panda Express and ordered a large Coke, but I was really disappointed with what I received. The drink was so watered down that it looked more like weak tea than a refreshing Coke. It lacked the bold flavor and fizz that you expect from a soda. I hope they can improve the quality of their drinks in the future.
