Place recommended by a local friend. Except the steam fish I ordered took alot longer, wishing the cashier could've given me a heads up, because by the time I got my order, my family already finished their meals. Tasty food though. So the great price and good taste can't outweigh the wait. I was so very hungry. As a previous customer service rep, it's important to have courtesy with your clientele . It would've been nice if they said to me, "sorry, your fish may take longer, would you be willing to wait?, this is an excellent fish we have you won't regret ordering"....or something like that... Fantastic Chinese food. The prices are incredible. Locals constantly came to pick up food. The mango smoothie was amazing and the Kung pao chicken was delicious. The walnut shrimp was some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had (and I eat a lot of shrimp). Huge portions and the best price. You can’t find more affordable food on this strip. As a tourist, I came here several times during my trip. They had non Chinese food too, they had breakfast items, burgers, chicken nuggets, and more. I parked at the Kalama Beach Parking lot (free) and just crossed the street over to Kings. Our meal at King Chinese Barbecue was delightfully delicious, featuring an impressive selection of fried shrimp, fried chicken, short ribs, and grilled salmon. However, our dining experience was marred by several service and cleanliness issues. Unfortunately, we received no offer of water, and the cleanliness of our dining area was below expectations. We encountered ants at our first table, and a closer inspection revealed that the tables were not properly cleaned, with visible grime beneath the clear mats. This lack of attention to cleanliness significantly detracted from our overall experience and was the main reason for not awarding a higher rating.
