Koholā Brewery — Restaurant in Maui

Located in Maui Brewing Company's old location in Lahaina, it has a funky, industrial, in-the-know atmosphere. They have a range of beers that run the gamut. Get a flight and try them all! We had two flights of four each and ended up getting a growler of the Talk Story. (We also liked the Mean Bean Coffee Stout.) Liked it so much we came back the next day and got a 5 gal keg! If you like craft beer, and the craft beer experience, you need to make time to stop here. Keep in mind things are more expensive here than on the mainland. Pints are $7-$8. It's less during happy hour but I don't remember what the deal was. (It's been several days and it's not posted on their website.) Very friendly staff as and patrons. Food truck nearby. Worth the visit!

This is a cool local brewery on Maui. It’s not as big as Maui Brewing Co, but I guess some will say that size doesn’t matter ;-) The owner’s of this facility are an extremely kewl couple who can often be found here hanging out and mingling with the customers. They are actually super humble and are the type of people who wouldn’t tell you they own the place. There is no food at this location but there are awesome food trucks located right next door at the old Sugar Cane station. They have cool event nights like trivia and open mic. There are no other small breweries located on the Westside of Maui which makes this spot a special gem in the community! This brewery is great. The beer is good man at and goes down easy. The atmosphere is very wonderful. But the best part is Ariele’s kitchens pretzels. They are everything a pretzel should be. Soft moist and the perfect amount of salt. The favorite is the rosemary mozzarella. We had it and it literally melted in our mouth. Best part is Ariele’s kitchen doesn’t bake soft amazing pretzels she also does most baked goods. We commissioned her to do a birthday which she absolutely blew everyone’s mind with! Best baker I’ve ever visited, if you are on Maui and in the Lahaina area please look her up. You won’t regret the quality. She puts attention, detail, and love into every thing she bakes and it shows. If you buy baked good anywhere else on the island you’ll regret not buying from ariele’s kitchen.
