We came here because of the high reviews, but never even got the chance to sit down. When we walked up to the hostess stand, we immediately noticed that half the restaurant was empty. Naturally, we assumed we’d be seated right away. Instead, the host made it very clear that we had to be on “the list.”
We said we’d just sit at the bar—something we do everywhere—and were told we couldn’t do that either unless we were on “the list.” She then told us there would be a 20–30 minute wait, even though only two people were ahead of us. No mention of being short-staffed, no reasonable explanation, just a rigid “you need to wait.” Watching an empty restaurant while being told to wait behind two people made the whole thing feel less like policy and more like someone exerting control for no reason.

To start with, the beers here are the best in the State. Better than Kona, better than Waikiki, better than Brew Co.
The location is in a newer, modern strip mall in Wailea. Plenty of parking and upscale area.
Service is unmatched. Everyone here is so friendly and will talk your ear off with great stories.
Finally their kitchen is top shelf. Everything we had was amazing stupid good and well thought out. Fish ceviche, pork belly bao, local fern salad, poke bowl, and our favorite of the night the Beer-ia tacos. Those tacos were the best thing I've eaten in weeks, meat so tender and juicy, dripping with flavor.
Live music Friday nights.
This gets my highest recommendation for a brew pub and is my new go to spot on any day but especially Aloha Friday nights.
