We've been eating here a while, even catered from here for our daughter's birthday. Recently wanted to try the "kids meal" and was shocked. I read the description and from what I read and based on the options given i thought I was getting: 1 piece BBQ chicken, 1 piece chicken katsu then given a choice of cheeseburger or katsu nuggets fries and a med drink. I assumed the burger was pretty small since it seemed like you got chicken also. We received just a cheeseburger and fries for $12.95, not even the drink. Mind you the adult cheeseburger with twice as many fries, plus lettuce tomatoes and onions is only $11.95, and yes, the kids patty was much smaller. Another reason I thought chicken was included, but I guess its just my fault and wont order this item again. $12.95 is way too much for a kids'...

This is the ONLY option for great local Hawaiian food. If you go to the fancy restaurant and pay $50 for some kalua pork it won't be as good as this. For the perfect price you can get all of the Hawaiian favorites from muzubis to moochi chicken and in-between. No matter which island or which trip I take to Hawaii, I always end up at L&L.

I would say that they can up their drink game, get some aqua fresca type stuff going on, and maybe a little more organization would be great (one time we had to wait 40mins because they forgot to buzz our buzzer, then someone spilled a soda on the floor tile and it was never cleaned up)

Also I would say for the loco moco for them to marinate the burger patty in teriyaki sauce or just add some to the meat, it will bump up the flavor.

This was the worst experience ever. My wife and I walked in to hear the owner yelling at her 3 children in Chinese, who just happen to be working behind the counter. The ages of the children are about 10, 12 and 14. Pretty sure there are laws against that. After my order was taken, which felt very awkward done by a child, I then sat down to a down to view a dirty restaurant. Wait, it gets worse. As I was waiting I looked down and saw a cockroach on the floor. If there's a cockroach running around with people around and the lights on, just imagine what's going on when they close up and turn the lights off. Nasty! I was going to ask for my money back, but I didn't want to risk the owner yelling at me, so we took our food, threw it away and went across the street to the food trucks. Stay away from this place...unless you like...
