I ordered the vegan tofu stir fry. It was everything I needed, delicious, and hit the spot. I didn't give 5 stars because of the unfriendly attitude of the woman working the window. I was only able to order as a vegan because the chef overheard and chimed in to say they can make a vegan option. I understand you may be feeling overwhelmed because of the number tourists, but, set your own boundaries, girl, and don't take your lack of doing so out on the one tourist who's been handing out huge tips to try and compensate. I heard from locals that this was the place for getting an Acai bowl. I had never had one before and thought it was some kind of fruit only bowl but it is so much more. There is an Acai ice cream/frozen yogurt/smoothie on the bottom and you choose you toppings. We got all the regular toppings and 2 premium toppings. I am both happy and sad that we didn't find this place our first day. Sad because it is soooooo good. My tastebuds exploded with flavor and freshness. Been coming here for years whenever in Maui. Have also been to other acai bowl places in Hawaii and other places around the mainland. This place is the best. Their lilikoi butter is the best I've had. Plus it's the first of only a few places that even offer poi and I finally had it today after a few yrs of trying and not getting it in the past. On its own it may not be awesome but it definitely adds textural complexity when you eat it with the other items they pack in the bowls.
