The lazy chicken — Restaurant in Mauldin

My family used to frequent this place, and enjoyed it for a few years. We went back there maybe 4-5 weeks ago and everything seemed different. The women taking our order seemed bothered we were there, like taking our order was an inconvenience. I didn't think much if it, though, but when my half rotisserie chicken order came up it was skinless, just a white piece of chicken. I asked the lady if I could get a piece with skin (the best seasoned part of a rotisserie chicken, to me) and she snatched it back, then brought it back with a small piece if skin sitting on top and rudely said "that's the best I'm going to be able to do." It confused the heck out of me, I mean, how does the skin go missing, did it fall in the floor, did somebody else eat it, or? I'm not sure if ownership/management changed, or I just caught it on a really off-day...

I ordered a 3 Sides Plate and was charged $11. Over priced in my opinion, I could have went and got two sides with a meat for this price. Ordered two sides of rice(undercooked) along with Mac & Cheese(no taste) and was given the smallest amount in gravy. But also the people handling the food did not wear gloves. One lady handling the food was literally putting her hands in her hair to remove it out her face along with wiping sweat out her face, after doing this she proceeded to fix my gravy in the little condiment cups and placed them on top of my Mac & Cheese..I stopped her before she closed the box and asked her to take them out and give me some new Mac & Cheese and to place the gravy outside of the box, she quickly caught an attitude and tried to smart mouth me! I will not...

This was my first visit. I work 2 minutes from this restaurant, and desperately needed another healthy option for lunch. Rotisserie chicken is a big part of my meal plan, so I was desperately hoping this would be good, and it was! I got a quarter chicken (white) with a Caesar salad. I don't always love Caesar dressing, but this was good. It is very strong, so I wish they used a little bit less or served it on the side. Otherwise, I had no issues. The chicken was great. Fully cooked but still very juicy. It's hard to cook chicken breast just right, but they nailed it. The flavor was good, too. The service was good enough. The speed was super fast.
