Caesars Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Mauldin

The food is fabulous, I would have given it 5 stars but today we had the rudest waitress ever. We’ve been here before and love the owner and the food is excellent every time. However, Lisa, our waitress made us rethink ever visiting again. She was rude, blamed us for not telling her we were there when it took her ten minutes to notice us. We ordered an appetizer, we got it after our food. She fought with the kitchen blaming them for not hearing her when we’d even questioned her if she put the order in (she did not). She didn’t apologize or offer to take it back or off our bill when she brought it out after our food. She proceeded to talk about us loudly with a dude in the kitchen with a “bunny” neck tatoo, it was extremely uncomfortable. It was also extremely rude and unprofessional when she confronted us and said, I’m not sure when you came here before, whether it was lunch or dinner but just so you know you need to come to the counter to pay, I don’t being you the bill. Additionally my meal came with the wrong sauce, they gave me sesame instead of tzitki and the terrible waitress never bothered to check if everything was ok. Anyway the food was good but that waitress will lose this place business fast and that’s sad as the owner is great and so...

I am updating my five-star review to a one star because of a server today, March 11th, 2023. The server had an attitude while taking our order and then started wiping her nose with her hand, trailing mucous and wiping her hands on her shirt. She then grabbed the menus with the same hand and brought another table cups and utensils. It was disgusting. If it wasn't for the alternate cook making the food, I would have canceled my order. I did reach out to her to make sure she washed her hands before she grabbed our plates and she was offended and reacted very rudely, waving her hands at me and stating that she "washes her hands all the time, hundreds of times a day." I tried to explain that I wasn't trying to be rude, I just wouldn't feel comfortable with her touching my plates without having washed her hands. She continued to have an attitude throughout the experience. It ruined my impression of the establishment, and I more than likely will not be returning. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and packed with authentic Mediterranean flavor. I tried the lamb gyro wrap and a side of falafel—both were outstanding! The gyro was generously filled and perfectly seasoned, and the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service is just as impressive as the food. The staff is welcoming and always happy to explain the menu or offer recommendations. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, and has a cozy atmosphere—great for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner with friends and family.
