Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Maumee

My first negative review of Marcos. Food is always great no matter the location. However, the service at the Maumee location could be better. One gentleman did greet me but someone else cashed me out and he was rude. He handed me my pizza, and I took a second just to glance at it, and he said "ma'am I'm going to have to ask you to step behind the glass". I closed my box and he said it again, this time in a very rude manner. I told him that he did not have to say it like that, and I simply took a second to glance at my pizza...the entire encounter had to have been around 30 seconds it's not like I was standing there taking my precious time looking at my food. I understand we are in tough times and have to take precautions, but there is a way to talk to people. I was not rude or nasty to him, so he didn't have to be that way with me. Despite me not being behind the glass we were still at a safe distance, plus THE SIGN THAT ASKS FOR CUSTOMERS TO STAND BEHIND THE GLASS IS VERY SMALL. If your staff is that concerned about customers standing behind glass, please at least put a sign up in the open space. I will never order from this...

Went to pay for pizza only to find it had been paid for..I'm new in town noone knows me, noone knew I was ordering a pizza either..I ended up with the worst case of food poisoning. Spent a few hours vomiting then a few more in the er with a needle stuck in my arm. I reached out to corporate with no response. Signed Angry posioned my marcos xcustomer..

Weeks later, after marcos said they wanted to talk, I've yet to hear a word from them....food poisoned by marcos.......update after speaking with the higher ups...the company ...who ever may be involved denys accountability..told me basically that I was a liar and I didn't get sick at this store..he stressed " we are a large franchise not a mom an pop" I could care less..this started in March and this convo just happened Friday..ohh I've got paperwork from the er..would show a pic of it but..I'll wait...would of been simple to do what's right but THEY PASSED THE BUC ON ACCOUNTABILITY..BUT I WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE ..The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks...

Lately it's been a chore to order from Marcos. Neither their website nor their app would accept my address and kept giving me error messages (address invalid or needs zip code). I called the maumee location tonight and they told me they weren't delivering tonight. I get that, maybe they didn't have any drivers show up. So I call the rugby location. They tell me they're delivering and I'm thinking, great, I can order here. I give them my address and they say "sorry you can only order pickup from your location because you're in the maumee area". 😤😤😤I'll NEVER order from the Glendale location again because the last time I did, they didn't deliver my pizza and argued with me when I said I didn't get it. They delivered to the wrong apartment but they thought that that was good enough that they delivered it to SOMEONE. And then the manager was rude and argumentative when I wanted my money back.
