La Frutera — Restaurant in Mayagüez

I really liked this place! The fruit smoothies are so good there. The prices are more then fair and the customer service was really well.

The area of their spot was really cool and when I went to my trip to Puerto Rico it was so cool for sure. It feels hot there, but thats to be expected since it's PR.

I really loved the options and when I go back there I'll definitely try more.

The time to take my order took less then 5 minutes. The consistency of the smoothie was thick and creamy which is always a plus. It should never taste watery and think or kinda thick, but still light. It sat well in my stomach and I don't regret buying from this spot.

If you're from Puerto Rico or visiting La Frutera I highly recommend this place for sure 👍

Keyla is a very unrespectful manager. I let them know, in a respectful way, that for the last few times the Frappé have been tasting like plain ice instead of fruit. I asked for less ice and more fruit. Again, the Frappé tasted like just ice. Keyla comes out and without listening to me she said with a unrespectful tone: "Im gonna be clear with you" and explained that they can't change the recipe!!!! I mention that I have been in other frappé place where they make it the way I like with no problem. Her response: " If you like that place, then why you come here?" Yeah, she really said that!!!!!! I said:" because you are closer to home and wanted to give you guys another chance. I asked for a refund and left very disappointed! Never compared to when they started....

I came to this location for the 1st time today. Instead of letting you pick and choose the fruits you want for your frappe as it is the norm; the had a handmade list of 6 combinations they are only preparing and the list specifically states you can’t make or request any changes. I left without purchasing anything. Really upset with the service in this location after spending time and gas to go here for nothing. If you want to have a frappe done custom made with your choices of ingredients don’t go here. The lady in the cash register not friendly at all; has an attitude like she was making us a favor.
